OMG. Totally.

I never noticed that. They took away about 30% of each arm. Good eye.

On the other hand Sheryl is just sitting there was a pretty little smile on her face with some drawings in the background. At least if she was trying to imitate Stevie she could have come up with something slighly more creative. Very unimpressive IMO. This is like comparing a girl and a woman.
Umm.....very little to do with the women. Who Art Directed these photos ?
That's the person being discussed.

Sheryl was on Letterman last nite and he held up her CD, I couldn't see the details very well, if Sheryl was sitting or not, but I thought, "Wow, that kinda looks like the Stevie poster."

Influenced by Stevie? Definitely! Obsessed? No.

Yikes. So, it's like another C'mon C'mon but with less rocking songs? Hmmmm....this isn't sounding so good. I'm wondering too, if her "trademark wit" wasn't really just a product of Jeff Trott? When she goes it alone the lyric content isn't as sharp.

I don't know, I thought C'mon C'mon had some very sharp lyrical content hidden behind all of the schmaltz. And tracks like "It's Only Love" and "Weather Channel" were so breathtakingly amazing that they overshadowed crap like "It's So Easy" and "Over You."

"Live It Up" is a shameful rip-off of "There Goes the Neighborhood," wait until you hear it, and "Good Is Good" steals from Bowie. She just has no edge on this new record. It's boring.

No, but assuming every same-gender set of friends must be having a sexual relationship, does.

Indeed. You picked my two favorites on that album.

Maybe they're both obsessed with Siddharta? It isn't really an unusual theme or image.

In no way is she trying to imitate Stevie, that's ludicrous.
I didn't say she was trying to imitate Stevie, I said if she is trying. Isn't that the point of this entire thread? (the person who started it used this as an example of Sheryl being obsessed so I'm assuming he meant to compare the 2 images). I could care less to be honest if she was or wasn't. Also, I probably did underestimate the representation of the artwork by calling them "some drawings in the background" but I can't help it. I really dislike Sheryl Crow so it's hard for me to be objective, especially when being compared to Stevie .

I agree, but the overall photos apparently are so similar in the first glance that people give them a double take I certainly did. But, who knows, that photo/pose of Crow's could have been around prior to TISL anfd La Nicks lifted from it

In the end. they are both pretty cool.

Also, is that some yoga position?
