Can't say i care that much for Sheryl but i used to like some of her songs, so in that respect i can like her in ISOLATION of Stevie

I don't think she's trying to imitate Stevie, I think she's trying to make her new album look as good as possible because the actual content of it is atrocious. As a big Sheryl fan, I never thought I'd hear such a horrific excuse for an album from her.

I don't know if she's purposely trying to imitate Stevie...but I like Sheryl's picture better. Sorry. I just like the flowers and the color scheme.

The difference is, Sheryl's face is less photoshopped.

I like the ablum art. The composition is similar to Stevie's promo poster but it's not a direct rip-off.

Is Sheryl obsessed with Stevie?? i wouldn't say "obsessed"... but i would say that she likes to tap into Stevie's fanbase to get a stronger, more loyal one herself... and by the looks of how many Sheryl posts there are around here (in a Stevie forum no less), i see her vicious plan is working :nod:

Is the pic similar? Sure. Is it inspired by Stevie? Perhaps. Is it "copying" or imitating Stevie? IMO, no. :shrug:

Besides, It's perfectly normal behavior between friends to hold each other very very very close for photo ops at award shows....sure...women lock themselves into hotel rooms for days on end....of course friends have little lover spats in public all the time---and then after they are no longer speaking to rip off your old friends concept for the cover of your new CD by inverting the color scheme--- yep, yep, wouldn't want to overstate.....

I really like Sheryl Crow and think she is very beautiful but when she was on Overhaulin' with Lance she had NO make up on at all. She had tons of bags and wrinkly skin. So yes I think that picture of her is photo shopped A LOT.

EDIT~ I just wanted to add that I like Sheryl's picture way more than Stevie's.

At least her arms look normal, though. Stevie's are quite freakishly photoshopped in the above pic. We all know homegirl has quite the waddle under her arms.
