Wow. To tell you the truth I never really looked at Stevie's arms in that pic. You are so right. Look how straight her arms look too. At least Sheryl's arms have some shape to them.

Well, since you brought it up.....perhaps they were. Seems to be a lot of rumors to that effect floating around. They did seem to spend an awful lot of time together during "TISL," showing up at each other's concerts, benefits and impromptu gigs.

How about their duet of "You're Not the One" -- to each other after a tiff, perhaps?

It takes guts to invite one of your exes to sing at your wedding!

Do you mean they are no longer speaking because they have not seen each other for a long time, or that they had a falling out??

Awwww, I'm sorry to hear that. I had high hopes. What's it like?

Syrupy sweet ballads and midtempo tracks that all sound alike. Out of the whole album, there's only one rocker ("Live It Up") and it's still more of a sunny pop song than anything else. The lyrics are what makes it a truly horrendous affair, though; they have none of her trademark wit or observations of society. Instead, she drones on about newfound love as if Diane Warren took her over a la "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." It's an embarrassment through and through.

INVASION OF THE SHERYL CROW THREADS!! PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP .
Ha ha Stevie and Sheryl lovers?...in our dreams (for Stevie to be in love with a woman, that is).

I highly doubt she's obsessed with Stevie. According to Stevie's last interview with Jim Ladd I got the impression she wasn't even returning her calls and Stevie even said something to the affect of "Sheryl if you're out there call me". I think she's in Lance land and not caring too much about Stevie right now.

Actually, my initial take was that there were some elements of Joni Mitchell's "The Hissing of Summer Lawns" on there (maybe it's that vague infected mucous green theme ) :

Yeah, it's shopped, but not as much.

Default Sheryl vs Stevie!!!

Just had to reply to this stupid thread. Have loved Stevie since i was 15 (am now 40!!!) and have liked Sheryl a lot since Tuesday Night!

Wildfower is fantastic (and i'm sure Stevie would agree with me!)

Sheryl appreciates the wonderful STEVIE NICKS, that we all appreciate

Please don't slag Sheryl just because she is influenced by the goddess!

Sheryl is amazing in her own right and has the right attitude towards giving credit where credit is due!

here's hoping Stevie does in fact sing Landslide aat Sheryl & Lance's wedding!

If Sheryl is trying to imitate Stevie, she really shouldn't. There is just no comparision. Look at Stevie's eyes in this shot - she is commanding, powerful, strong. The background has strong, vibrant colors with beautiful, meaningful images and extensive detail. This shot is spiritual and one of her best IMO. It really captures Stevie's essence.

On the other hand Sheryl is just sitting there was a pretty little smile on her face with some drawings in the background. At least if she was trying to imitate Stevie she could have come up with something slighly more creative. Very unimpressive IMO. This is like comparing a girl and a woman.

I'm sure any similaritie's people may find between the two images are purely coincidental. But these "Stevie is a lesbian and doing every woman she lays her hands on" rumors are a real beating and make gay people look bad.

Take a minute to actually look at each of the photos. Thematically, they couldn't be any more different. They aren't just "some drawings in the background," they're obviously meant to represent a transition from living in darkness to moving on and living in light and happiness.

In no way is she trying to imitate Stevie, that's ludicrous.
