I thought JD did a great version of "Cold as Ice," and I'm not even a fan of his...I liked Deanna's original song and performance also....

Jordis - ouch is right! She SO could have rocked it - why didn't they just drop it down a notch so "that one f*cking note" wouldn't have been such a mental block for her?

Marty-I was surprised how much praise he received - it sounded like karaoke to me, nothing very original or noteworthy - just...blah.

Mig - Meh.

Ty did a good version of Proud Mary. He should have had the girls do the shimmy dance like Tina used to.
Suzies song was good and her eyes remind me of Stevie.
Other than that, tonight was off. Marty could've controlled his vocal much better without the screaming. Deanna was okay, as was Mig. And JD is just forgettable to me.

I usually love Jordis but tonight she just sucked. I was cringing and it looked like Dave was too. I thought JD was good but I still don't like him. Mig's song was just alright to me but I thought Deanna's song was kinda cool. Ty performance was very entertaining. Marty is ok but not a great singer and I agree that he's not right for the band.

I actually noticed something about Jordis, she just doesn't do well with regular "rock" songs, like Dream On, or Layla. She is much better with the oddities like People are Strange, Man Who Sold the World or Knockin' on Heavens Door. Not sure what it is but when the song requires a real "rock out" approach it's just not there. Not that that's bad, there are plenty of great artists who don't have that, but it could hurt her here.

I liked Deannas song enough to wish i had the lyrics as it kinda peaked my interest.

The rest well...

Suzie was good, but she's just too cutesey, I don't think she has the personality to front an all male band, very few do (Grace, Janis and Debbie Harry come to mind but none of them were "cute")

JD is too I, Me, Mine.

Ty was okay, but actually I thought the best part was the backing vocals, and it's hard to screw that song up.

Marty looks possesed, a little creepy.

Mig, eh...his song just kinda passed over me and was forgotten.

Honestly, it doesn't matter who wins. The show is a flop and the album will be, too. 20 somethings with 40 year old has-beens doesn't work.
