Okay, Stevie is my idol, I learned to sing by totally dissecting the Tusk documentary, I learned to write songs by disecting her lyrics. I adore her and she is the only one of my mentors whom I've never met.

But... only when you love someone this much can you poke fun. My friends and I poke fun at each other so I don't feel bad being able to do this.

In the 90's when she was at her heaviest I had quite a few Stevie jokes going around with my friends, which I later felt really bad about hearing how much all the talk hurt her feelings on the Behind the Music special. But, like I said, if we didn't love her so much we wouldn't be able to joke. It's all in good fun.

Okay, that was my disclaimer. So here are mine for the mid 90's album that never got released...

And okay, I have to admit it. There was a local artist who had a little stand in a shopping center in Pittsburgh who would do portraits of you and your favorite star together if you brought him a picture, and I was very tempted to take the cover of the "I Can't Wait" 45 and have him turn the microphone into a twinkie and have us both eating twinkies together. I'm glad I never did that. I would really feel bad about it today. LOL!!!
