Did y'all know that Lynn Cheney actually wrote a lesbian romance novel? I read an article about it a few months ago--sorry I don't have proof on me. I know it's hard to believe. But the book is out of print and the company wanted to bring it back (probably because of the issue of gay marriage), but Cheney didn't want it back in print because she said it wasn't one of her best works.

Those links simply spout more bull****. Where those studies go wrong is by saying "violent crimes." In reality, assault weapons are not used in "less than one percent of all violent crimes," they are used in less than one percent of gun crimes. That's an incredible difference.

There's an incredible chapter on it in Franken's last book and it details how the ban helped lower those types of crime by 50%.

And last night was Bush's best performance. He was able to halfway keep up with Gore, but clearly cannot with Kerry.

I know that - but I am just saying many experts disagree with you, blah blah
blah - again, I think the ban should have stayed in place.
