Nope I didn't catch Ahnuld's speech. I seriously couldn't watch much at all. I did read about his full-of-lies presentation, though.

On a lighter note, I have a dog who heretofore has been named Carri. As of today, I'm officially changing the spelling to Kerry.

Did you catch Ahnuld's speech? He lied throughout the whole thing. First, he said that he saw Humphrey and Nixon debate when he first came to the States. Nixon and Humphrey NEVER DEBATED. He said that as a child, he saw tanks race throught he streets of Austria. Not true, my dear. The only time tanks raced through the streets of Austria was when WWII was over, before Ahnuld was born. He also claimed that Austria was run by socialists and that the communists tried to take it over. Both lies.

I did catch Ahnold's speech and then Jenna and Barbara - let me just say that I laughed more that evening than I do on any given "must see tv" Thursdsay night....

Im surprised the Shrub's tongue didnt shrivel up and fall out of his mouth when he said the obligatory well wishes for Bill.....and I bet there were people out of range of the cameras that held up cue cards that said "Boo" and like the good sheep they were, they complied....(said in jest, I know that its a knee jerk reaction for Republican die hards to badmouth Bill Clinton, and they didnt need cue cards...) I couldnt bring myself to watch even one minute of that monstrosity because I already knew what Dumbya would say: I am tough on terrorism, remember 9/11, the economy is great, the tax cuts are working and my policies are working....and Kerry is a traitor, and I need 4 more years to get it right this time...

Actually, I believe he is so tanked up on medication that he can hardly see in front of him, let alone inside of himself.
