Wishes for Clinton booed...
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (AP) _ President Bush on Friday wished Bill
Clinton ``best wishes for a swift and speedy recovery.'' ``He's is in our thoughts and prayers,'' Bush said at a campaign rally. Bush's audience of thousands in West Allis, Wis., booed. Bush did nothing to stop them. Bush offered his wishes while campaigning one day after accepting the presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention in New York. Clinton was hospitalized in New York after complaining of mild chest pain and shortness of breath. Bush recently praised Clinton when the former president went to the White House for the unveiling of his official portrait. He lauded Clinton for his knowledge, compassion and ``the forward-looking spirit that Americans like in a president.'' (Copyright 2004 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) I'm so numb when it comes to the evils of Dubya and Republicans that I don't know how to respond. They're heartless. I was no Reagan fan by any stretch, but when he died, at least I said some kind words about him finding peace in the afterlife. These people have no class.
Best wishes go out to the Clinton's and I wish the man himself a speedy recovery. He deserves all the goodwill available and I hope Chelsea and Hillary are okay. |

Stupid sheep.
God bless you, Bill <3333 |
Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Clinton and boo's back at those who booed his ill health.
Diss, you've been surprisingly quiet all this week about the joke of a convention that was held. How 'bout that Zell Miller? I've don't think I've ever been *quite* that disgusted in my life. And then did you see his mini-interview with Chris Matthews? |
One of the attorneys I work with just said, "Well, at least Clinton is CAPABLE of having a heart attack...Neither Bush or Cheney even have hearts!"
Zell Miller is a frightening man - He reminds me of the creepy guy from Poltergeist 2... |
Well, it's nice to know that these ever-so-moral, holier-than-thou, "we're better than you because we're Christian and/or straight" Conservatives, are so compassionate towards their fellow man.
If God were able to, I have a feeling He'd take a full-page out in all the world's newspapers, with one of those, "the views represented by these people do not reflect the views of the Management" statements. ;) |

What a lovely crowd between that and the young Republican who kicked a protester (and then lied about it when ABC news told him they had it on tape.) I wish Bill a speedy recovery!

I haven't been able to post about that sick display because I've been afflicted with projectile vomiting all week. It only got worse on Thursday night when the anti-Christ took the stage. I wrote a letter to my local paper every day of the convention, but they didn't get printed because they gave Zell Miller a run for his money in the visciousness department. I put a sign outside that says "MA Republican Delegates: Move Back To Texas," too. I was outside weeding my driveway on Wednesday and some fat bastard walking by tried to pull off my Kerry Edwards sticker from my mailbox. And the words that were uttered from my mouth would make a sailor blush. That convention was the most un-patriotic and un-American thing I've ever witnessed. It was so vile and venomous that I could only watch it in ten minute intervals every couple of hours. It wasn't hopeful, it wasn't positive, it was EVIL. The question that is on my mind is why any human being who cares about this earth we liv eon and the people we live with would associate their names with a political party that belittles the bravery and service of veterans, makes a mockery out of the Purple Heart, spews such foul bile over everything it sees, I could go on and on. I find it unbelievable. So, all you proud Republicans, why didn't Bush talk about his record? I'm waiting. |

Also, let me know if you want the number to the precinct in charge of the torture chamber for protesters on Pier 57. They were arresting them and sticking them in this cage that was filled with gas and oil and made them sit in it. |

I watched the beginning of Dubya's speech and when he said something along the lines of being a compassionate conservative who didn't want the government to run people's lives, but instead to improve people lives, I thought "unless you're gay", "unless your life could be improved by stem cell research", "unless your job is being outsourced" and so on. At that point I just turned the TV off. I truly don't understand how anyone could support such a hate-filled, holier-than-thou regime. |

Did you catch Ahnuld's speech? He lied throughout the whole thing. First, he said that he saw Humphrey and Nixon debate when he first came to the States. Nixon and Humphrey NEVER DEBATED. He said that as a child, he saw tanks race throught he streets of Austria. Not true, my dear. The only time tanks raced through the streets of Austria was when WWII was over, before Ahnuld was born. He also claimed that Austria was run by socialists and that the communists tried to take it over. Both lies. ;) Typical Republican. |
