For the one person around here cares what I think, namely me:

Here's what I would have done with Tango to make it perfect:

Pull our WTTRS and Whassamaddababy. Now, the latter I would keep if it somehow could be edited. Maybe cut down on the first 40,000 whassamaddas.

Then:

Big Love
Seven Wonders
Everywhere
Caroline
Tango in the Night
Mystified (why do so many people diss this song?)
Little Lies
Family Man
You and I, Part I
Isn't It Midnight?
You and I, Part II

IMO it's not terrible, it's just a too slickly produced version of Over & Over or One More Lonely Night. It's just kind of there separating the two sides, for those of us who remember cassettes.

I dusted off my Tango vinyl this morning and played WTTRS to see if sounded any better.

Nope, still sucks.

I have no idea. I really like it. Chris' music is great, and the lyrics are among the closest to a real love song Lindsey ever penned.

Maybe you need to dust off your ears.

There's that sense of humor. I was wondering when I'd finally see it.

I do enjoy the harmonies, I guess.

I'm intrigued by Mac songs that the songwriter doesn't sing lead on. Does anybody know the exact reasons that Chris sings Mystified (She does sound great, of course) and Lindsey sings Crystal? I know there are theories, but has anybody in the band ever commented?

Not at all. I just figured you've been through enough getting your little needle onto the vinyl. Watch for scratches.

"No Questions Asked" is AWESOME!! I love that track.

"Welcome to the Room... Sara" isn't great, but it's not **** either. On the other hand....

"Family Man" - worst non-Mirage Lindsey song ever.

Why on earth do so many people like "Little Lies"?? It's one of Christine's worst songs ever, in my opinion. So crappy-poppy-bouncy... **BLECCCHHH!!!**

What's worse on Mirage?
(I have my guesses.)

I knew you'd go there.
I'm the only fan of Empire State. It's not my favorite, but it's okay. Oh Diane is just too annoyingly repetitive. I still prefer it to Family Man based on the sound.
