I noticed that, too.

I think it's just the whole "Legend of Sara" bull that takes over, if you ask me.

Even more interesting- almost every list so far has both "Sisters of the Moon" and "Storms". Two of the best songs ever!

I'm always surprised more folks don't list Rhiannon.

Maybe it's because it's sooo associated with Stevie that people get sick of it. The studio version of "Rhiannon" has never done much for me at all, and the live versions from the '70s where she just goes nuts tend to be a little over the top for my taste. The Dance version is my favorite, because I like her deeper, huskier vocals better, and I think her wailing on it toward the end ("take me like the wind, child...take me with the sky") is effective without going overboard.

This will be incredibly hard since I like about 250 of her songs (I checked! )

1. Silver Springs
2. Landslide
3. Sara
4. Dreams
5. Gold Dust Woman
6. Twisted
7. Storms
8. Rhiannon
9. Gypsy
10. Leather And Lace
11. Fall From Grace
12. Gold And Braid
13. Edge Of Seventeen
14. Planets Of The Universe
15. Rooms On Fire
16. If You Ever Did Believe
17. Sleeping Angel
18. Rose Garden
19. Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind
20. Everyday

Well she didn't write the last two but they're incredible nonetheless.

Song of the moment - You Are (go to the Christine Ledge if you haven't heard this one yet)

The Lindsey and Chirstine lists were HARD but this is IMPOSSIBLE (Not necasarily because her songs are better but there are just alot more of them and I like most of them) But I'll try. The first 5 are my like ultimate top 5 Stevie songs. The next 15 aren't really in a particular order and I'm sure I'll forget some.

1. Silver Springs
2. Rhiannon (Studio AND live)
3. Sisters of the Moon
4. Gold Dust Woman
5. Beautiful Child
6. Storms
7. Angel
8. Thrown Down (SYW version)
9. Smile At You (SYW version AND demos)
10. Dreams
11. Edge of 17
12. Gold and Braid
13. Nothing Ever Changes (I can't explain it but I LOVE this song)
14. Blue Lamp
15. Fireflies
16. Illume
17. Running Through The Garden
18. Destiny Rules
19. Doing the Best I can
20. Bella Donna/Kind of Woman/Think About It/ How Still My Love and Outside The Rain all as one continuous song> I'll call it Hawkeye's Bellad Donna Medley

Stevie's SYW songs did great on my list but they just can;t break the forefield of the heavy early hitters she had in Fleetwood Mac. And my list has no Gypsy OR Sara. two popular Stevie songs I just don;t care THAT much for.

If you're referring to the version on the Live 1980 album, it was actually recorded during the Rumours tour. If not, sorry for butting in.

I also forgot the B/N stuff: Crying in the Night, Long Distance Winner, Frozen Love, Races are Run! All great.

Also, "Think About it," "Planets of the Universe," and the acoustic "Gold Dust Woman" from the Rumours re-issue.

Can I pick 30 instead of 20?
