I was a little harsh in my earlier dismissal of Sammie; her songs do run the gamut of emotions... from A to B!

Back to Madonna, at this present moment in time, I would not want to see her in concert, I just find her music to have slid very very downhill!! I am an 80s, early 90s Madonna fan!!

Til death do us part is my absolute favourite Madonna song, im certainly with JS on that!!

Well all the dates have not officially been released, but the tour kicks off June first in San Francisco and ends in September. She is planning on doing a little bit of Europe and about 40 USA cities.

I don't understand why everyone and their mother hates Madonna. She has held an incredible career for a long time and just keeps getting better. Seriously, why does everyone feel like calling her a "whore." That's like when people call Stevie a witch (not that that's a bad thing necessarily), but she's not. Commenting on someone we don't even know like that. Freakin' bastards...LOL! j/k.

Honestly, I think her concert would rock! How could a concert with Madonna not?

I'm a Madonna fan myself, but there can be no denying that she uses her sex appeal to sell her records. If she didn't act half as sexually controversial as she has, she wouldn't be here right now. Her career began (even though I know Johnny will disagree!) when she rolled around and faux-masturbated on the VMAs back in '85 to "Like A Virgin". It was smooth sailing from there.

Well I am pretty young, and wasn't even alive in 85, so the Madonna I am used to is the Evita/Ray of Light/Music/American Life/Children's books/Mother/Spiritual Madonna... a little more mellow then she once was, I suppose! And that is the Madonna I love.

The same applies with Stevie. I do not care for her crazy red rocks concert video, but love how she is a bit more mellow, as in The Dance and how she has been the last five years.

And that is the Madonna that hasn't gone over well with the public. It was okay in the beginning (Ray of Light) because people saw that as just another reinvention, then she came out with the tepid Music, which did okay but not as well as Ray of Light. Then she came out with the disastrous American Life (her worst selling album) and the public just stood back and heckled. Now, she's trying to balance motherhood with smut and it isn't working at all.

What she needs to do is make a good album again, do a bit of minimal titty flashing ( ), and trash the motherhood bit. She's just become boring, IMO.

I love the 80's Madonna, the Papa Don't Preach, Open Your Heart, Material Girl Madonna.

I bought her Ray of Light album, which I do like, but I've only listened to it a few times. I didn't like Music, American Pie or American Life.

I miss the 80's.
