That cross must get heavy, honey. Good luck with it.... maybe purchase a back brace?

LOL that's hilarious. The BuckVie version with Stevie in the corner should say "I don't understand their premise"

This entire Buckingham Nicks situation is hilarious. We went from "I never want to share the stage with Lindsey again" to the Buckingham Nicks cover plastered on a billboard over Sunset Strip with the media going crazy over it. I'm shocked that of all time periods to make this happen and to hash out the details involved, it's somehow happening now.

I can't agree more. Probably there will be no tour or single live reunion. Only the album (I hope!).

But all the hoopla I see in the media and theories we post here, I'm enjoying it.

Well, that is when the problem begins, when it is not just for fun, but when someone is passing off AI for the real thing.

I love that image with BN and Mick because that is essentially what happened when he posted Magic then, magic now.

I think Villa found it. I just thought it was funny.

Yes, he inserts himself in everything!

I imagine he acted as an intermediary between the other 2 and got this thing rolling.

I know I'll probably get a sh&t storm for this, but part of my brain has this niggling sense that maybe they are doing this now because there is something going on health-wise or whatever for one of them that makes it more imperative to do it before it's too late. Fire away.

And even if there is no imminent health crisis, I still imagine that time and age have played a big part... I mean jiminy crickets in 3 years she'll be 80 (2028) and in 4 years he will be. Time waits for no one. And yet another one has just bit the dust... news just came out today Ozzy died (yeah yeah he had other issues)..... Mortality has to be on their minds or at least on the minds of their handlers.

They can hate each other all they want, but sooner rather than later one of them won't be around

I had that nagging feeling, too.

As you said, even if there are no immediate pressing health issues, time is rapidly catching up with them. Lots of their contemporaries are dying off, some unexpectedly.

I mean, if they are not thinking of death they are idiots. I am thinking of it and I am a generation away from death (I hope). My mother is 88, with dementia, so … The Mac wakes up every day to hear that one of their peers has died.

I hope Ozzy died of natural causes. If he did, I think that is a fine way to go. He was on top of the world just a few days ago. His family was at that last concert, his kids and grandkids, so proud of his legacy. He couldn’t walk any more, but the fans let him know he was still a legend. He was all over the press and social media. To go after all of that, I mean it was perfect for him.

Actually I don't think in that possibility, but everything is possible. Cause why they didn't do this after Lindsey had his heart surgery? They must have been worried at that time too. could it be because it was very recent and the feelings, resentments, etc. were still very intense? I don't know.

He had Parkinson’s. At one point, he even said there was a decent chance he could die during the show. Getting through that show was what he was living for. Dying a few weeks later is very common with people living to make one last milestone.

you do also wonder if the effort and energy it took to get through that last show really took a lot out of him.. the rehearsals, the show itself, all the meeting and greeting backstage.... The fact that he had to do the whole show sitting down was a pretty stark indication...who knows.

Absolutely. Ozzy wasn’t leaving anything on the table. His mortality was imminent and out of his control, however, he was saying goodbye on his own terms, even if it shortened the amount of time he had left.

And can you blame him? Would you rather spend maybe six months in bed being an end-stage Parkinson’s patient or one month with a chance to be Ozzy F*****g Osbourne one last time? Choice seems pretty obvious to me.

Makes me think of Joni Mitchell too...

Do we imagine Stevie would ever do same (perform onstage in a chair) or will she just hang it up?
