Yep I got front row right in front of Stevie's mike(I stood in front of Lindsey however) at the second LA show this summer. I got the ticket about an hour and half before the show. I had the same luck in Boston this fall second row. I was lucky to move up to the front during the show.
I did not have that luck at all in Denver this fall so I guess it does not always work that way.

I posted on the groupie thread too but I got front row for LA just a few hours before the concert. I did what Pattie did also and I had bought a ticket when it first went on sale and then ended up buying another better ticket right before the show. I know it's a waste of money but I'm obsessed. Since I ended up paying for a couple of tickets anyway I wouldn't really mind buying a ticket through a broker if I could only buy one ticket. But they make you buy at least two tickets so I don't go through a broker very often. Sometimes you can find some good deals on ebay so I always check that out too. Finding good tickets takes work. When I am looking I look as many times a day as I can on Ticketmaster and just hope I get lucky.

Well I would prefer to be in front of Stevie, so are you saying that you can just move around and switch positions? Because this is what I was really wondering. What if I got Lindsey's side, when I would much prefer Stevie's side? Has anyone been in this situation before?

No you usually do not get to move around...but when you are searching for tickets, check out the seating chart and you will know which section is Stevie's side...always on the left and Lindsey is on the right...although at many shows fans in the first 2 or so rows have been able to kind of move around..depends on the security or the venue...

So, how far to the left are we talking usually? Like should I try and be pretty much in the center, just a few seats to the left? Or is she way over on the left side? I have seen them live before but never really payed attention to exactly where she was positioned on stage.

In atlanta sept 7 i was all the way to the left...2nd row...i was 3 seats from the end..it had good points and bad points, we got to see everything of Stevie...changing clothes...and she even tended to stay to the left of her mic when not singing...on the other hand, you will be able to see EVERYTHING if you are a few seats to the right of Stevie's mic...but you cant really be that picky sometimes lol

You want to be in the center or a little left of center. At one show I was in the 7th row all the way to right on Lindsey's side. And it definitely feels farther away than if you are in the 7th row towards the middle.
