Ok. So the Mac is playing sheds in the US next year, and I plan on seeing them again. Since there is no info on what cities they will go to, I can only dream that they will go to Red Rocks... So there comes my BIG fear. I got completley SCREWED on my tickets at the Ford Center, could be my falt, could be there's, but I wasn't very satisfied. So next year, I want to get the BEST, I mean front row, right there. I'm not worried about the price, it's the actual, getting that seat. What is the best way, internet, phone, what? I know it's a little early to think about this, but seriously, I am really worried. For seating arangments, all the ampitheatres are basically different. To be on Stevie's side, right in front of her, does anyone know what the ticket would be, like Block (whatever) Row (whatever) Seat (whatever). I know I am getting worked up over something, that I shouldn't be, I just want to have a great experience

I'd also like to know how so many people are getting these great seats. Everyone is talking about playing Lindsey's Guitar and handing Stevie presents, which implys they are really close to the stage. I don't even know how to get tickets in "the pit", let alone front row.
Also, how do you know which is Stevie's side and which is Lindsey's? I would prefer to be on Stevie's side. But if I was on Lindsey's side, do people ever switch seats? Like if there are a couple of Lindsey fans on Stevie's side and a couple of Stevie fans on Lindsey's side, could you switch? I mean like, can you aproach people at these shows and see if they would switch? I have never been close enough to the stage to know any of this. Thanks for any info! Chris

Unfortunately I think that it is going to be harder to get front row for the sheds. At least the one in my area it will be. I believe that there are not as many seats in the front row maybe 12. I can't remember however. For the Dance tour I called a scalper for the 2 Mansfield, MA shows and I only got 8th row.
I did manage to get 3rd row online a few days before Stevie's TISL tour in Mansfield, MA. Maybe the new fan club will have the best seats reserved for us this time. I hope that they don't do sheds and do arenas again. That was the greatest experience. |

Also, I really hope they don't do sheds! I hate the heat and I hate bugs and the sun, if it is too bright. I like the nice Air conditioning!

I got some tickets the day they went on sale and they were not the best. A few days before the show I was able to get better seats. In many cases I never sold my other tickets. So, it was as if I had gone to a scalper anyway for the $ that I paid. I am with you on the sheds! Not mention the horrible traffic at the Tweeter Center in MA. YUCK. I also don't like the sheds because they are mostly in some far off town from a major city. The arenas being located in most major cities make it easier for people like me that travel to different shows. |

If you have any kind of high-speed internet connection, I'd recommend checking Ticketmaster.com the minute they go onsale. Ordering by phone (in my experience) sucks and takes forever, and going to a Ticketmaster outlet, they may pull that lottery crap depending on how many people are there waiting for tickets to other shows. You may also get someone behind the counter who has no idea what they're doing. If you don't get anything right away, don't panic. Check back all that day, and if you're still not able to get the seats you want, wait until the last week and just keep checking ticketmaster once or twice a day, or go to the box office the day of the show. If you do end up having to settle, bring some extra cash and when you go into the venue, ask around... you may find someone up front who will be willing to trade you their ticket for yours + an extra $50. A lot of times there are people in the first few rows who are there because of contests or relatives or venue connections etc etc, who aren't really diehard fans and don't care where they sit. Well I FINALLY got great seats for 2 shows this tour...i never got 1st row, but I did get 2nd row and 5th row...and how I got them was luck of draw, which is how many do...get on ticketmaster.com a few days or a week or so before the show and start checking...many seats will pop up

Well according to many I have asked about this, the band and tour staff are alotted a set amount of good seats they can give away to friends/family etc, and when they do not use them, they will put them back into the system...this usually happens nearer to the date..the reason a lot of ppl miss out on the ON SALE DATE...is because these reserved seats are not in the system at all often...
Also other than just the band and crew tickets, some are saved IN CASE of radio station promos/giveaways...and when those are not used they also get put back into the system...sometimes as late as a couple of hours before the show Chris

Yes, at the June 3rd show at Philips Arena in Atl. this year, I had row 20 and I was outside waiting for the doors to the venue to open, and this guy didn't have tix so he walked up to the box office window (just to see what they had) this was about 5:30 pm..and he got front row CENTER...for face value..he almost died..as did I ..lol
