Ahem. Respectfully sir, we DO NOT call Red Rocks a shed here. (Gets off soapbox).

Way too hot in Austin for sheds, plus I don't even know where they would play outside here. If they came to Austin in any way shape or form I would be ecstatic so what am I talking about?

Why yes..."Post Gazette Pavillion" would be considered a shed.

I still call it Starlake though.

I remember hearing about a nasty encounter that Eddie Van Halen had at a shed (Great Woods) in Massachusetts with an insect. It either flew or crawled into his ear. He had to seek medical attention. I heard this on the news back then I was not at the show.

Gee...thanks, Pattie wiping away more tears. j/k

Then there's the "summer shed drunks"...the ones who walk and try to balance 6 beers without using lids or a cup holder,.... as oppposed to the "arena drunks" who know that 3 beers without lids is the limit and indoor record.

There's nothing quite like summer, rock and roll and a shed to attract the drunks who shun arenas.

I'm praying there are a lot of arenas mixed into the third leg. I'll travel.

Arenas are much better in my opinion because of one, well maybe two things. First and most importantly, is that the sound is MUCH louder. Outdoors, a lot of the sound goes up in the air. Inside the sound is trapped and bounces all over the place, making a Lindsey guitar solo into an experience. Also, the weather factor can't be overlooked. Who wants to sit out in the rain, or cold weather, or whatever. Do I hear an amen out there?! Bill

speaking of the sheds...today as I was driving I heard Sara on an Atlanta radio station, Z93 (The same one that interviewed Stevie a month or so ago when she mentioned the Sheds)...and they said "That's Fleetwood Mac...they're show at the Arena at Gwinnett Center was awesome..you know they are coming back in 2004 to hit the sheds...and they will probably be here at Hi Fi Buys Amphitheatre, so we'll keep ya posted on that"

Just thought that was weird...that we have been talkin about the sheds..and the DJ mentioned it

Angry Starlake shed

We got soaked and lightning crashed all around
at Starlake ... outdoors is "iffy" near Pittsburgh!
We drove 85 miles and then got soaked! They may
get zapped on electric guitars and mics in a storm!!!
We want our Wonderful Maccers Safe and Dry! Sky

I prefer arenas, but dammit, Stevie loves the sheds better. She's said that she thinks it's too serious indoors and that she loves the open-air and fun atmosphere of the sheds. Go figure.
