I think she wants some time out of the constant public eye where she can do her own thing, whatever that is-- family, friends, time in her little trailer house in Malibu, whatever..-- eat what she wants, not be always traveling. She feels she has to maintain a certain image in public and keep the weight off, do a million interviews, fly from place to place...a lot of work. Your day is managed for you and you're told where to go and when. I think she just wants some personal time off and freedom to do whatever she wants on a given day. Christine had that for years, to the point where she finally got bored and wanted to get back to a busy work schedule. I think Stevie wants some down time and some time away from band politics and all the rest of it. As a fan it makes me nuts, but I get it.

I can fully understand her wanting time off and certainly do not begrudge her some 'me' time... but a year and a frickin half???????
