I agree and sorry to be hard but do you want unchecked refugees as neighbors.I'm open arms for anybody here and I dont give a crap who they are.They got to go through the right process like other to become citizens.Thats the point I'm trying to get across here. Did anybody see the news about the little girl that got raped in Idaho.

Ignorance is a sin.

Quick facts: what you need to know about the Syrian crisis;
https://www.mercycorps.org.uk/articl...t-syria-crisis

more than 11 million people have been killed or forced to flee their home.
more than 50% of Syrian refugees are children (many or most of whom have lost their family and have nothing).

Syrians in Madaya eating tree leaves to survive;

40,000 Syrians trapped by Assad regime forced to make soup from grass because they've eaten every stray dog and cat in the city;

Turkey: 2.7 million Syrian refugees
Lebanon: 1 million Syrian refugees
Jordan: more than half a million Syrian refugees
Iraq: a quarter of a million Syrian refugees
Egypt: over a hundred thousand Syrian refugees
Germany: over a hundred thousand Syrian refugees
Canada: Twenty-five thousand Syrian refugees
UK: Five thousand Syrian refugees
USA: Less than two thousand Syrian refugees

Honestly not a problem.
I lived and worked for over 10 years in Hounslow in West London-just south of Heathrow airport. The majority of the population of Hounslow is drawn up of refugees and migrant workers from a diversity of different backgrounds. A lovely melting pot of cultures.

I now work in a school in Hillingdon in West London- just north of Heathrow airport. Again, the majority of the population of Hillingdon is drawn up of refugees and migrant workers. A lovely melting pot of cultures.

I now live in Shepperton in Surrey which is overwhelmingly white, middle/old aged and middle class. I have been embarrassed by the deapth of the 'Leave' feeling in my town, mainly based on anti-immigration sentiments. Racist old bustards! (it seemed to be okay when had lots of Polish people coming here- that was different. They were white).

The altruistic urge to be open to those fellow human beings that are in desperate need of help seems sadly lacking in too many people. Me, me, me, me , me.

The heart-breaking truth of the matter. And there I was hoping that a united Europe could work together to sort out this crisis, but no the people of Britain have voted.... and Britain must come first

And thanks for posting the photo of the "lovely melting pot of cultures". One of the best things about London is it's cultural diversity, something I always felt grateful for when I lived there.

Default As Long They Get Checked Out

PLEASE guys.Let me get this straight for once.I dont mind anybody AS LONG THEY GET CHECKED OUT.I could care less where they come from and who they are.I do have a heart .Yes I do feel sorry for the kids that get stuck in the middle and what they are going through.I lived in a apt 18 years in town with a few Mexican families.They have work visas and work at a large metal factory in town.They were very friendly,very helpful, They helped me on car repairs and I helped them on repairing their electronics gear. I have no problems with anybody . Thats all I'm asking for and have a nice week end.

The great British national drink of tea comes from leaves on plants in India etc. Maybe some would like to go back to painting themselves blue and dancing around the mistletoe? Before the Vikings? Kick a Ginger?

Everyone for themselves = not civilization.
