It just makes sense that they will have a new album for the newtour. It makes no sense to release anything without touring or promoting it.

I would imagine most of that stuff would already have had to be finalized? They have to start production soon if the release is next month so if the liner notes aren't done they're gonna have to be very soon.

Liner notes are frequently one of the last things finalized when issuing an album. No guarantee that's what this interview is for, but it seems likely.

It would be great if Stevie could quickly write up a song about the horrible Orlando events and add it to the new album.Get it released as a single and fight with radio stations to air it.The proceeds can go to the victims families and survivors.

If Hurricane Katrina is anything to go by, she'll probably tell the press that "Landslide" is about Orlando. And add, "I see that now."

That she is..but I'd also add that Christine is quite a greedy old bird who resurfaced just in time to fleece the boomers on a series of oldies cash grab tours.

That's one way of putting it I'm sure they're all enjoying their millions from the last couple of tours

Nobody ever called Christine stupid.

To be fair the very first thing she did was go into the studio with Lindsey and write new songs. She's not the one holding back that music. Sure, she's not forcing the issue, but she's certainly not the most to blame for the lack of new music.

we really have nothing to support this assertion. the second part of your sentence doesn't automatically imply the first.

exactly.

and we have no clue whether or not she's forcing the issue behind the scenes. we just know that. the same as Lindsey, she doesn't seem to be very successful if doing so.

They're all greedy old birds. But I'm holding out hope that Christine's enthusiasm for the "new" music means it gets released.

Christine came back, in part, because Ken's book brought back her passion for the music. Almost a year to the day after he said that in an interview about his book, she was on the Today Show telling the world she'd rejoined Fleetwood Mac.
