Stevie's contributions would include OSOTM and Street
Angel during that time period. Along with FM's Behind
The Mask. There isn't one song I can think of that's great
from any of those albums.

Christine's contributions to BTM and Time aren't exactly
magnificent. As catchy as Save Me is, it's that sugary sweet
type of song that nearly ruined Mirage.

Lindsey actually had a good album between Tango and
The Dance. I wish he'd continued on in that direction.
But by the time we get to Say You Will he sounds a bit
tired. And a little uninspired. Plus the fact that Stevie's
songs and performance bring nothing to the table.

So with the exception of Lindsey's Out Of The Cradle,
that's a decade of less than stellar material from the
songwriters.
To give positive comments on a few of these,

I loved the Alice in Wonderland concept and "save yourself" theme of OSOTM.

Love IS dangerous. Nuff said.

Goodbye Baby and Say Goodbye were very deep and meaningful!

We'll see what's up next!

I would also add that IMHO " Rooms on Fire" is a great pop/rock single and maybe not coincidentally the last song to make the top 20 by any Fleetwood Mac member in either the US or UK.

My comments probably sound harsh. I can listen to
some of the music on those albums and enjoy it. But
I don't hold it in high regard.

Up next is...

I'd be the first person around here to say that I'm not a fan of OSOTM nor Street Angel, but still there's some good to great songs here and there from Stevie in this era:
'Ooh My Love' (her best song since the RAL album and wouldn't be matched until 1997)
'Rooms on Fire'
'Paper Doll'

And though I don't like the original versions of 'Rose Garden' and 'Destiny' on Street Angel, the Enchanted box set remixes reveal them to be pretty damn good songs.

And as far as SYW goes, I'll always be an ardent defender of that album. I like every song on it, but the highlights are 'Thrown Down', which is frickin' incredible, 'What's The World Coming To', 'Steal Your Heart Away', 'Bleed to Love Her' and 'Say Goodbye' and I feel they ar worthy additions to FM's discography.

Okay, folks. This thread is about a new Fleetwood Mac album; not debating the merits of decades old solo albums.

it's still there. you can just click on the tweet that i embedded and go straight to it, or you can scroll down Wild's timeline to Jun 16 and it's there.

haven't heard anything more from David Wild about it. he was on the set of ABC's Greatest Hits that start airing Jun 30 that day when he was supposed to talk to Lindsey, but it's unclear whether LB has anything to do with that or there was a separate occasion when they talked. if by any chance it was a separate interview, i hope it pops out somewhere soon and gives us some idea on what's happening.

The David Wild interview is most likely for the Mirage reissue's liner notes, right? He did the notes for last year's Tusk reissue.

If David Wild gets LB talking, hopefully something will come up about the new album.
