Thanks for selling Stevie out, Kim. Especially considering that I'm sure she's financially provided for your child's education and well being for a number of years now. Really? The thanks she gets is selling her demos to a parasitic collector. Were these demos given to you as gifts, or did you run off with them? If they were gifts, they should have stayed in your "PRIVATE" collection. Anything to make a buck.
Jesus. Jump too 100 conclusions much? Calm down.

You have to love how things get so blown out of proportion...Where does it say the tapes were stolen from Stevie then sold?

A rare find! Thanks to Sandor for tracking these down.

Do you think Stevie would want us to have these?

Exactly. It doesn't say that at all. If someone goes to the trouble to obtain something like this and then further out of their own generosity shares them, why should I get worked up over how we got to hear them? It's none of my business.

At this point why wouldn't she? Bucking ham Nicks seems permanently stalled from ever being officially released. Going Home would be a great addition to the new FM album but that's not going to happen either.

Every artist likes thievery. Sure she loves the fact more unauthorized songs are circulating.

When Stevie made jokes about her and Lindsey's friends stealing their cassettes (from behind the sofa) and putting it on Youtube, during her song intro, she didn't seem that bent out of shape. It happened so long ago. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Not a Buckingham-Nicks tune but still an upgrade:

She was the naive one early in her career that handed out cassettes of her songs in progress to her "friends". I think she's smartened up over the years but she was the one who made the mistake years ago of handing out copies of songs before they were commercially released, thus removing the chance to surprise people with new songs in their final, polished arrangements.

On the other hand, the ones that are sound board recordings or from her studio demo sessions (vs. her at home ones) it would seem like someone who works in the studios or for the sound company would be the guilty party..... so many of those come from her solo work, though there are FM works as well (Smile At You, Joan of Arc, etc etc ).

Who knows if some of them were leaked by her or with her knowledge. You never know.

It's curious that far fewer LB demos get leaked and even fewer of Christine's and that they also have far less of an entourage of hangers-on

It would seem like in the old days it would be pretty easy to steal stuff from Mick. Just hang out with him until he was semi-unconscious (which I would think was not an irregular occurrence) and take whatever he had. I mean, he wouldn't have demos, but remember how he used to record the band? We should have more video and audio that someone swiped from him, to try to capitalize on the band in their hey day.
