New Buckingham Nicks rarities

I don't know if it's already been posted but Danielle on her site has brought to the attention that the Ivory Keys group recently acquired more unreleased Buckingham-Nicks demos and outtakes:

The songs are being uploaded here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcf...f48qUf7KUqURhQ

Yeah, and they're gonna give it to us served with tea and pastries.
The companies will hold on to the material until after their deaths.

What companies??? Last I knew Stevie & Lindsey had full ownership of "Buckingham/Nicks" and I believe Keith Olson has a stake in the project because he was the producer...After Stevie & Lindsey are gone I'm sure Jessica and Kristen will put it out there when they need a few extra $$$...

That is just overwhelming news.

Polydor gave them the full ownership of the album rights?

i would bet a 3 are incorporated and their businesses are runned by a lawyer , agent or relative , with lots of arguing over who s getting the biggest piece of the pie

Once Stevie and Lindsey are gone, won't most of their fans who want these BN extras be dead too? If not dead, then senile. I am already starting to wane.

So let me get this right, Kim Anderson sold these demos to a collector?

Thanks for selling Stevie out, Kim. Especially considering that I'm sure she's financially provided for your child's education and well being for a number of years now. Really? The thanks she gets is selling her demos to a parasitic collector. Were these demos given to you as gifts, or did you run off with them? If they were gifts, they should have stayed in your "PRIVATE" collection. Anything to make a buck.

Great Stuff........Release this gem on cd while there is still a "market"

Actually Stevie did gave some of them away, probably some were stolen too:
About 24K Gold:
“I used to make cassettes of my songs and hand them out. But to know that these songs have finally been recorded with the same love they were originally created is joyous for me. I picked 12 songs from about 40 demos made from ’69 – ’87 and one each from 94 and 95..."

"We went onto YouTube and we found all the songs that, somehow, were taken from my house or picked up or loaned out or whatever ..."

In some interview she said that when she played demo cassettes to her guests they told her they liked it more than the finished version of the song and asked her if they could have them.

Their next opportunity would be a 2018, 45-year anniversary reissue. It could easily be a 3CD/LP release: remastered album, outtakes/Buckingham Nicks II songs, live CD, and original album on 180gm vinyl.

One can only hope.

My goodness, how beautiful. Thank you for posting these!

I'm a total chiffon head, but "Going Home" and Lindsey's version of "Crying in the Night" are both new favorites.
