When I hear Street Angel, I think Mick. It screams about the relationship they had in the late 70s. Mick is definately the "Charles Dickens character, with your top hat and scarf." IMO.

If you watch the video for Blue Denim where Stevie narrates it, she talks about her hair do and a number of other things. She also says that she's pretty sure she wrote the song about Lindsey. That he's the only person she knows with blue-grey eyes.

When SA originally came out, I remember there being discussion that Blue Denim was about Jon Bon Jovi. It also works within her explanation of some guy who came into and left her life quickly. Someone else in the thread mentions Bret Michaels, which is also a good possibility and appropriately timed.

Although I can not recall the specifics of the conversation from that time period, I do remember thinking Blue Denim being about Jon Bon Jovi made a lot of sense; there's also plenty of internet discussion about his varying eye color . I don't take credit for coming to this conclusion, nor can I credit the person from back then who stated this (it was just too long ago), but I always thought it made a lot of sense, fit in the timeline perfectly, and have always been perplexed that Jon Bon Jovi has never again been discussed within the context of this song. But since that time I have always thought Blue Denim to be about him.

I don't think she has even a remote clue as to what she wrote this song about. Unless it's a super old song, she most likely wrote it during the Klonopin haze. She has no conviction in her voice as she's searching her memory banks for the Blue Denim file.And when the says it was "probably" written about LB she ends the sentence with a question mark. However, the "understanding me...understanding you...is not an easy thing to do" totally suggests her relationship with Lindsey so who knows. I think maybe part of Lindsey is in there but maybe some other stuff too.

I THINK SHE WAS HIS MISTRESS AND MEREDITH (see ie 'Monica" and Everyone Finds Out from SYW dvd) having the last name Gray...and when she was having her breast implants removed...she saw Meredith and realized it could never be...and McDreamy came in so Stevie turned her head because she didn't want him to A. bust her with his wife thinking she was stalking/creepy and B. she didn't want him to know her boobs weren't real...

But,

If Meredith didn't survive hospital shootings, drowning, plane crashes...etc....etc...


Stevie would have gotten the answer from Shondra that Meredith did a Katie Heigl move....and publicly will shame her for 40 years...after all, She made them who they are...


I digress...


So, do you think that might be the answer she was waiting for? A Crystal Vision?

Can someone point me to the thread that talks about her and Jon Bon Jovi please? I never realized he was stepping out on his wife. Not like I know the guy personally tho!!
