Then they'll have a 'talk' or a 'reconciliation'. Then the tour starts and it'll usually be up and down emotionally (bar 2013 - the grand exception, which was pretty much a 100% lovefest). Then the tour ends and Stevie will whine and distance herself again. The same thing here, except that she's doing it WHILE a tour is on, making it even more incongruous.
'We argue', 'we don't agree on anything', etc aren't really harbingers of doom. Even in 2013 she acknowledged onstage that "even though we argue, the love is always still there." It's always been like that. She'll change her mind on whether they're publicly friends or not from interview to interview, too. Just like in 2009, a few quotes in a magazine don't sum everything up. They've ret-conned Unleashed as COMPLETELY 'neutral' as of 2013 and yet there are plenty of pictures and videos which suggest that that doesn't tell the whole story. The same thing this year. Yes, there are shows where things are 'off' and she's a bit miffed or, at least, not as enthusiastic but 1) that's how it's always been 2) it doesn't negate the positivity or closeness of other gigs on the tour 3) I don't think he's always the cause of issues she has

You are right. I do feel like it's a roller coaster ride when reading/watching/listening to her interviews. I just want to tell her to "grow up and play nice."
