She goes on all those shows because she loves the attention and "legend" status being lavished on her. I can't believe i have gone from a Stevie lover to starting to really dis like her in a matter of a few months. Sad.

It's like a roller coaster ride for me, too. I put on Bella Donna on and love her again. But that's starting to not work..

If Stevie chooses to not be a part of the next FM record that's her choice but the blame that there is not a new record ( whatever the line up of the band is ) is no ones fault but Fleetwood Mac's...

On that I agree. However, she owes them a definitive answer at some point. It's pointless now, since they're booked at least until the end of June, with very little time off.

well, maybe Lindsey decides to shed some light on what is currently going on with the album in the upcoming interview with David Wild http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showpo...80&postcount=1
i'm assuming it will be a little blurb in RS or somewhere.

meanwhile, the boys are obviously enjoying life and what Vancouver has to offer (i was looking for that thread about FM members being out and about but couldn't find it to stick this photo in there) -

i found her attitude of ignoring the audience and turning her back on them at the today show during rehearsal pretty off putting .

I'd have to agree with that. Just like I blame both of them for no B/N release in the last 40 years, or even a new album B/N somewhere in the last 16. Sigh.... Could have done something after Christine left.

Again the band is spending at least a few hours a day together...The four need to stand in front of Stevie and say "We're making as record you are either in or you're not and we need a yes or no answer and we want it NOW"

and you know they are not doing exactly this how?

but yeah i do agree with you, as you know - at some point they need to stop taking stalling or whatever she is giving them for an answer and kick her out. as Mick said to Lindsey and as Lindsey said to Christine - either you are in or you are out. plain and simple.

we've been waiting for this album for the last 5 years.... should have had 2-3 new albums out by now. time to release it!

if SN gets back on board and wants back in later, they can renegotiate, like they did with others. or not. time is running out.

But if it comes down to the wire and her heart still isn't in it...then I guess I don't want her to participate. I don't want her to half ass it and then blame Lindsey when she's not happy with the end results.
agree, completely!

and, half ass was exactly what happened with the EP, and look at all the hate for it on these boards, regardless of the great reviews it received everywhere else.

They need to quit running through the garden and let destiny rule! WE don't need peacekeeper's taking their times. Illume the reality of the situation for silver girl.

At some point that absolutely needs to happen. Right now is probably not the time.
