I wonder if they are factoring in their ages and thinking the physical demands of a tour can't be sustained for a whole lot longer so let's get on the road and rake in all that tour money while we are still able to withstand the rigors of the road. Working in the studio can be spread out over a longer time, it can stop and start to accommodate people's personal lives and whatnot… maybe they want the cash from touring while they can still physically do two hours a night :
