This proves a lot to me. See...now we're getting the correct picture you'd expect to see from a fan club with club seats for the actual members. We know all you guys even though you're in another country. You all seem to be getting tickets from this small pot of great seats. This is as it should be.

How is it...that in US cities...both large and small...hardly anyone knows the identities of fans with the best seats? Who are these great US fans always parting with their coveted front rows on eBay? With few exceptions, I've never heard of any of these fans before. None come to any Stevie or FM boards I've seen, but I must admit I'm not on many. Still, how is it I recognize the names of all the Brits sitting front row? Guess Euro fans love the band more than their PayPal accounts. You're actually sitting in the seats you bought from the club! How refreshing to hear!

I feel really bad that this didn't happen for the US pre-sales. All I have seen is posts about the problems people have had... it has sickened me. This is why so many UK fans have already been buying tickets from ebay because there was no faith that the fan club would deliver this time. Rather shocking that it has

It is wrong, isn't it? It's obvious that it's not just that the fan club have sorted out their presales... because presales in the US continue to either bring up bad tickets or just go wrong in general! I have to ask... can the blame be laid on other organisations as well as the fan club? Do Ticketmaster have a hand in it too? Or even the promoter? It's more than a little strange.

But congrats to everyone who did well in the fan club presale! The fan club has far to go in order to redeem itself... if it ever does... but this is a start, I guess. How about making it up to the fans in the US in some form or fashion, JT?

Pip is right though. It's pathetic that we were all driven straight to eBay instead of being able to trust in the knowledge that the fan club would come up with the goods. I bought quite a few of my tickets through eBay, and might have waited (and saved some cash) if I had been able to trust in one word that fan club said in the first place. I'm beginning to doubt the moron ever went to business school, otherwise he would know that having your customer's trust is one of the most important things... otherwise it ain't gonna sell.

Laura.

Glitter-Fades - I believe you were thinking of the SYW pre-order CD's, that's what overseas fans couldn't get -they wouldn't ship it out of the US.

The other thing about the UK fan club is that you first had to go to Insider News on fleetwoodmac.com (using your user name & password), which then linked you to Clear Channel's UK website, where you had to register and create a user name & another password - then finally, you'd get linked to UK Ticketmaster, where you'd enter your fan club presale password. A LOT more secure then what we all know happened in the US, despite our concerns BEFORE the first pre-sale.

Well done to all my fellow UK fans for getting such great seats!!

Christy, Madformac and I are pretty much happy with the seats we've got from the general sale so we didn't participate in the Fan Club sale, but I'm REALLY impressed with the results you all got!! A big thumbs up to Jonathon Todd for getting his act together for the UK fans......Like everyone said, he's still got a looooooong way to go to redeem himself, but this is a very good start!

~~~I too was very impressed with the UK fan club presale. I managed to get great seats for both London concerts. I also noticed that unlike the US there was no word you had to write before getting to buy the seats. That made it a little faster. Anyhow, I'm very excited!~~~
We could pre order SYW but we would have been charged a ridiculous $80 for shipping!!
No way... that's just... oh, the man is out of his mind. Wow, if it really cost $80 to post a CD I wouldn't be trading anymore.
