So she talked openly about John's sickness before it was ever even revealed publicly?

that interview was more recent than Amsterdam. or cobbled together from 2 separate interviews.

somewhere in this thread we were discussing possible ticket prices with Christine, and how much more space they have or don't have to go up.
i mentioned Eagles ticket prices that i saw... i just checked since they are playing in my area in March: regular price range is $67-212. that's higher than they were for the Mac in the same venue (highest regular tickets for the Mac in this venue were $149 - vs $212 for Eagles). but then look at this (and i'm sure they are not counting these "fan tickets" in average ticket prices, b/c pollstar was clear they were not counting platinums) - 11-20th row of the floor - $450!! since they don't show 1-10th row of the floor as available, hard to tell how much those prices were, but no doubt higher than $450. so even though they advertise prices on the floor as $212, you can't get first 20 rows on the floor for that (and i got 19th row floor for the Mac for the regular price).

I too am worried about the prices going up if Christine returns. I mean, I'd love to see her and all, but... For me, given their age and therefore time being a factor of releasing new material, I'd rather them just stick to their solo careers at this point. They (at least S & L) seem happier that way anyway. Jamie

^Even if it is just another oldies tour, I'll actually go this time around (I skipped out on the Unleashed & 2013 tours). I had tickets for the Raleigh, NC The Dance concert back in '97... but the band ended up cancelling that show. Had I been older than 15 at the time, I would have just bought tickets for a show that was further away. But not being able to drive prevented that. So this time around, I will not be missing my 5 Fireflies, even if they do stick it to us in regards to ticket prices.

This thread is so confusing.LOL.Coming in late in this thread.
If this is true as the story in the OP.It would be great to have Christine back in the group. Time will tell.

So, it doesn't matter if people saw Unleashed or SYW or Live 2013, a tour with Christine will be different, no matter what. I mean, it might be the same as the Dance, but come on. That's like my Grandma telling me she doesn't want to watch I Love Lucy shows because she saw them when they first aired. FIFTY YEARS ago. You're opposed to repeats 50 years later??? Michele |

I want to hear them perform 'Little Lies' like they would have if they had stayed together for the Tango tour.

[QUOTE=sywlindseyfan;1112470]That's great idea, to recreate/parody that infamous bed photo shoot. It would be so funny. Let's hope John is out of hospital bed soon and is back in bed with his four fellow bed mates.

Even when Lindsey said that Warner Bros. wanted a new record from them, I thought that was quite odd. I can't imagine WB wanting a new FM album unless Christine was on board and then they could work it like they did the Dance reunion. But why on earth anyone at Warner Bros. would be pushing for just the four of them to make an album was completely beyond my comprehension.
I suspect that there have been Christine-return strategy sessions going on all summer really, used as leverage in helping the group land some big contract. Michele |

In The Meantime was only further proof that Chris' songs are greatly benefitted by a little of Lindsey's experimental edge...
