I'm not sure, but in England maybe that's what they called it 30 years ago. It may be more a cultural reference than her own personal one.

But there's no doubt that Christine can be standoffish. Sometimes she's shy and that causes some awkwardness and reserve. Sometimes she's impatient. Sometimes withholding. Not everyone gets the unfettered warmth she bestows on her dogs. Michele

I found a few UK medical sites that call it as such, so most likely cultural.

From what I could gather, she has this "inner circle" of people she lets loose with, then with others, not so. Though hot-headed, impatient? Oh definitely (and you wouldn't want to be on her bad side). And based on those comments from Ken Caillat from a couple of years ago, a little on the eccentric side as well (though that comes from living alone, I suppose). The only surefire way to get on her good side is to be a blonde Lhasa Apso dog.
