That's my Stevie!! Very proud of her.
I noticed that too. Very confident. Loved it & made me feel this song finally!

I'm glad Stevie had a blast when she was under the weather.

One problem was the overdriven guitars were over riding her voice and it was hard to hear her voice.

I enjoyed Dave G's interview.I agree what he said about today' s recordings with the artists using Autotune. Its not real.

Personally Its like athletes using steroids.

This was a great performance. She looked and sounded amazing, and seemed to really be having a food time. I agre with those who said she looked comfortable and not as nervous as she tends to seem in televised performances.

Fantastic. Hope this sort of energy carries Over to the tour.

Talking

I think Stevie - and the planets of the universe - have aligned exactly where they are supposed to be and allowed her to find her true self again.

She needed to get back to her rock roots and just have fun making music again. Her incredible confidence on stage might be a reflection of this new, rejuvenated, creativity spurt.

Grohl talked yesterday on Letterman about Stevie and Lindsey joining the Mac and when he mentioned FM people were cheering. it's basically Grohl supporting SN and FM, not the other way around (although sure, it works both ways). this is a great advertisement for an upcoming FM tour.
I heard David Grohl on a podcast (I think the host was Marc Maron) and he talked extensively about Buckingham Nicks on that show. And you know that I am into the Grizzly Bear Egg Cafe and to them (Mike Quackenbush and Clayton Morris) the emphasis Grohl's Sound City put on Buckingham Nicks was very important. They talked about it in their podcast. So, this has all been good publicity for Fleetwood Mac in general.

In fact, everything is converging (Christine talk, etc.) to keep FM constantly in the news for one reason or another. Hope they ride this train right into the tour.

Default About Time!

Stevie was urgently in need of a strong TV performance. Many of her IYD (& TISL for that matter) TV performances fell flat (except EO17 on America's Got Talent) but that was an oldie. Stevie never sold "Secret Love", and FWIW, while a great song, just came off too nice, not wow, what was that! And I'm not even 100% in love with YCFT, but Stevie sold it to me last night!

After watching last night, it became more clear that Stevie would serve herself better if she did more rockers to sell herself & her music. The "Secret Love's" & "Everyday's" need to stay in the background. And while she's at it, she may want to consider getting a younger & tighter rock band. I loved when Waddy came back for TISL after being gone for 15 years, but I'm beginning to think Stevie should consider getting a new band & band director if & when she decides to record & tour solo again.

I know in the old days, Christine said that about Stevie: that she was always sick and curlec up and had a sweater and some tea or something. Michele

I've been saying for a while that the powers that be have forgotten how to market Stevie and how she was first presented to us as a solo act - a straight forward rocker. For those reasons, Every Day and Secret Love (and even Rooms On Fire, and Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind) were not ideal choices for singles. Fall From Grace, Ghosts Are Gone, Listen To The Rain, and Long Way To Go were huge missed opportunities to lead off with a rocking first single and keep Stevie's confidence (imho) intact or at least less unstable.
