Get your passport renewed and join us... you're welcome over here. I'm just wondering where you got the info that they'll be playing in Amsterdam. I haven't heard anything about that..... yet.
Take care ~ Debbie

Hi, you all.
It is unbelievible to see all these reactions from all over the world. Everyone is exited, and they should be. After all, it has been over 2 decades, that we last saw Lindsey.

Why is eveyone sooooo willing to get to Amsterdam??
London is beautiful as well, and half the band will play on homeground. That's always special.
But to honest, as for me, i'm flattered as Dutchman,( i guess so will be Debbie and Gerald).

If there is a gig in the Netherlands i will be there, otherwise i will visit Oberhausen-Germany and built a huege party with other Mac-addicts, they already told us we would be welcome.
Just one last questions to Debbie, why don't you react on my email. I was visiting your Stevie site ( by the way compliments) and was asking myself if we've met somewere in the past.
D, respond,

Will

I haven't heard anything either, just VERY wishful thinking at this point! I'm wondering if the dates we already have are all of them, or if they'll add some more after the Dec. 4th Manchester gig. If not, then, to quote the Clash, I'll be "London Calling..."

I haven't received your e-mail or else I would have replied. Make sure that whenever you send me an e-mail, you put in the subject "Stevie's Room".
It could be we met in the past. I've been a fan since Rhiannon. How about you?
Take care ~ Debbie

Well, sorry 'bout that Debbie, i was asking you if you were the girl who made the FM fanclub in the Netherlands, together with Karin (from Haarlem). At that time we talked a lot about FM on the phone. Maybe now you remember ??

But i need to ask a question, how did you get your tickets?
I 'd like to go to Oberhausen to ('bout 125 km from here), it seems i don't find anyway to get to the tickets. I'm on holiday right now, and responding from an internetcafe in the middle of Greece. Please try to help me , or give some tips so i can be there to, and by the way, how much for a ticket??
A friend told me that tickets were sold over € 75,00 each.
Is that correct??
Allready thank you for answering and i will try to respond later this day or tommorow. The guy (owner) here told me that it is very quit on sundays

Will,
So if everything works out we will be able to meet, and have some party !!!

Default Oberhausen tickets

You can also buy tickets on the website of the König-Pilsner Arena which is where the concert'll take place. Try this link:

http://www.koenig-pilsener-arena.de/index.htm

Hope this helps!

Antje

Yes, I worked with Karin a little while. I do remember talking to other fans on the phone quite a lot but I don't know your real name. Maybe if I knew your name, I would remember you (I remembered Gerald). Man, this is such a long time ago. About 25 years or so????
People here like Gerald and HoneyHi were so nice to give you the phone number and the url to the site. I just called and made a reservation for an arena ticket (2 actually) and that costs 62,45 euro. They need to have the money within a week and for 5 euro more they'll send the tickets to your house. I chose that option because I don't want to be in line at the cash register (unless I'm picking up backstage passes.... I can dream hahaha). The most expensive ticket (76 euro) is a seat at the edge of the stage left. So I chose an arena ticket and hopefully I'll be standing right in front of Stevie (again.... I can dream).
Just give them a call on Monday, they'll be open from 8:30 am.
Good luck, Bumperke and enjoy your vacation in Greece!!!!!
Take care ~ Debbie
P.S. When you call them. leave the 00, that's the code when you're calling from Holland. When you're calling from Greece you'll need another code, I just don't know which one. Maybe you can check the phonebook there or check with the operator. So the phonenumber for you would be: (countrycode) 4920882000.
Hey, good luck and let me know if there's anything I can do for you.

May i thank everybody so far. It is around 12.00 local time here, and i can use the computer from the hotel. Are these Greek people nice or what?? I contact a few people and they 'll answer if they join me.
I get more exited everyday, My holiday is killing me now that i know 'bout FM.
Dear D, i won't print my real name on this board. I try to make easy for you. As you know, my first name is Will, i came from Heel ( little village in Limburg), this is all information i'll print.
Oh, I adored (and still do) Lindsey.
Which remembered me to an interview from 1980 were Mike Oldfield (Tubular bells) was impressed by Lindsey's playing. At that time many bands were trying to create a live sound that was equal to the studiosound, see the Eagles, Electric light orchestra and many more.
Oldfield told that (i qoute) " Buckingham makes a show, whenever he plays you feel that he loves playing his guitar, this is the show people like to hear, not some studiocopy, they can play that at home. Liveplaying is a joy, and that's exactly what Fleetwood Mac feels when you see them live".

When i look at Oldfields preformance in 1992 were he played Tubular bells II, live in Edinburgh, the difference between studio and live was so small that i still asking myself if it really was all live. It is "by the way"a brilliant gig, one of my favourites.
If i remember well there were several German fans who wanted to meet other ledgies from all over Europe. I would like to meet everybody, talk to them, sing with them.

After all, lots of you ledgies are going to Oberhausen.
To Gerald, thanks for your wishes,
To Antje, already hit the url, Danke schön,
To Debbie, think and you'll remember me
For now already lol,
Will, ( i got a little sunburn, it's hot)

Well, I've been thinking long & hard and your name didn't ring a bell, the place Heel did however. I do remember talking to someone who lived there so that must be you.
Do you also know Jackie?

Good to hear you're also going to Germany. Maybe we'll meet there. Enjoy the rest of your vacation!!!
Take care ~ Deb

Hallo daar,

Nice to see the ledge has more dutch members, I was one of the first around here.

Thanks for the phone number in Oberhausen, I'm gonna try and get some tickets. I can't wait to see them again, last time was 1995 or 96 during the Time tour. I also went to Utrecht in 1990.

Hope to see you guys in Oberhausen!!!!

Hey Dimphy,

Nice to see you. The Dutch are coming out of the woodworks LOL. We've been waiting a long time to see them again.
You know, I completely forgot that I went to a Time concert as well, in Groningen. I probably blocked it out because my friends and I left halfway the show. I'm sorry to say this, but that line-up didn't do anything for me. And I heard people around me asking:"Hey, where's Stevie Nicks?". Pointing at Bekka Bramlett:"She's not Stevie Nicks. Where is she?". A lot of them left. I left after they did GDW. I'm sure Bekka Bramlett did her best but there's only one person who can sing that song and that's Stevie. She's the one and only.
Hope to see you in Oberhausen.
Take care ~ Debbie
