Europe

Hi eveyone,
Is there a possibility that Mac will visit Europe? They are touring around USA at this moment. We don't get much information here.Last time i've seen them live is 1990 in Utrecht-Netherlands. They played oninspired, a few days later Stevie announced that she would leave Mac. Which she did. Now 13 years later is Mac back with a new album and tour. And this might be the last oppertunity to see them alive and kickin'. Including Lindsey. And there's a rumour (how strange??) that Christine will join the band again. She seems to be tired of retirement?
Is there someone who will (and can) give me some answers.
Europe is waiting for them as well.

welcome to the ledge Will.
when i think about FM coming to the netherlands i start drewling... :p but unfortunately i already lost any hopes for such a miracle to happen, just to stay on the safe side (considering the fact that i cannot afford going twice) i'll be delaying my amsterdamian vecation for this summer until a week before the schoolyear starts. the fact that no info is being provided whether the promised "world tour" might eventually occure or not is very frustrating, although many years of being a FM fan should have tought me to never expect anything, i keep insisting on hoping and eventually feeling like a dumbass :distress:

Tommer,
thank you for welcoming me. I'm flattered.
May i ask, do you have relatives in Amsterdam??
Concerning your reaction, we both agree that it is time that the "chain"visitses Europe ( and perhaps Israel or Greece). I would go to London, Brussels, Munich, Vienna, Barcelona, even Athen if they just shown up.
But isn't there any American fan who does more, or is more of an insider????
Will

tommer 07-21-2003 06:24 AM

no, i don't have any duch relatives, it's just that amsterdam happens to be the coolest city i've ever been to and therefore i rather spend my vecations there.
i don't expect them to come to israel due to the current ****ty situation here, the only time they were supposed to do so was back in 1988 and it was cancelled (which obviously left me heartbroken, took me 9 years to eventually see them), but greece would be cool enough :D

Well Blackdove, You can do it, from were you live it'll be not more than 250 miles. I suppost you will go, i hope you can.
A flight connection with Dublin from Amsterdam or Maastricht will be quit a crime. So i hope they'll play in London or so. Thanks for the tip, we'll just have to wait untill they enter our continent.

Will

As anyone knows, even the Europefans will never break the chain.

This is great news! But...don't expect "Tell Me Lies" (actually, "Little Lies"), unless Christine crosses the Irish Sea.

Being as how both Mick & Lindsey have brought their entire families along on the tour, I couldn't see them NOT making it a "World Tour"...how else would they be able to let their kids "see the world" and STILL be able to count it as a tax deduction??

iamstevienicks 07-21-2003 04:29 PM

Fireflies spy in the camp, now has tale of 9 UK DATES!!!

Manchester, London and Birmingham as definite, this is from the mouth of mICK TOO
