Well, they recorded Say You Will for 6 months while Stevie was out touring behind Trouble In Shangri La! It'd be my dream for the band to record an album in the 6 months between when Stevie and Lindsey's solo tours end later this summer, and when the band strikes out on it's new tour next year. I still can't fathom why it takes this band 12-18 months to record new music. Especially as many completed songs as Stevie and Lindsey no doubt have in their vaults, not to mention the scores of partially fleshed out songs that no doubt exist. I know it'd never happen, but recording in 1/3 the time than SYW took could equal a much, much better album. Leave some edges jagged, don't overwork the initial product too much.

I'm disappointed if this ends up being a greatest hits tour but FM should take a lesson from Stevie's enchanted tour. When she surprised us and changed up the setlist and did Garbo, Rose Garden, and Twisted it was brilliant! There's hope that they can keep all of us happy!

Can't wait for Mohegan Sun Show its just an evening with Stevie Nicks and thats the way I want momma in concert no opening act just Stevie. I feel maybe one more FM greatest hits tour in the works if it happens it might not. Stevie did go thru the motions on the last tour in 2009 with them.
I have to say I felt that the Unleashed Tour 2009 was the last FM tour I know never give up on another tour. If stevie plans on doing a new cd she will tour solo next year. I can't see her make a new cd and tour with FM.

I'd like to hope they have something more up their sleeve, but that's probably just setting myself up for disappointment.
Yes double the shame really. I wish thee weren't so many ''advisors'' and business folks seeking easy money in the form of lengthy tours ,all that stuff gets in the way..and it's so hard for them to turn down the offers they get

Don't forget about...

Tina Turner: The This Is It. (No Really) (This Time I am Seriously Going Away For Good) (and NOT Coming Back Tour.") Tour. ( Part III). (To be continued)

Cher: The "(I just Had major Overhaul and all my Fluids changed) (So I am COming back)(Again) (for the Last Time) (But I might Change My Mind) (in a Couple Years) (and Do another) Farewell (for now)" Tour

Barbra: The End (but I will still do shows, but market them as "special one time only events", political fund raisers etc) (but they won't actually be called "Tours") (I am not touring, but I am doing one time events) (in many cities) (all in a row)(but its not a tour)(so buy your overpriced tickets! because this is the last time you will see me!) (Truth ALERT!) (I am serious) (insert liberal bias slant here)Tour

Rolling Stones: We Be SO Old (but our bodies are all so decrepit and preserved by drugs and booze that no disease can take hold) Tour

well it's never been the same for me without Christine but I'm still looking forward to the tour. Without a new album, I'm really hoping they switch up the setlist and don't do another Unleashed set (though they probably will).

I doubt they would have the audacity to go back on the road again with the same exact setlist. Yes, the ten or so FM staples will anchor the set, especially towards the end. But I think the other ten songs will be a mixed bag. And who knows... maybe they will pull out a brand new song on us?? They realize the power of social media and its ability to spread information in real time. Nothing will stir up the fanbase more than the prospect of a new song that could be heard exclusively in concert. If they can't make money selling recordings of new music, they could certainly make money playing new music for paying concertgoers.

Oh, who am I kidding... that will never happen!

Oh my goodness. That is hilarious. If Keith Richards lives into his nineties, then the hype about "clean living" has been the biggest scam the world has ever known.
