Stevie is always notoriously off by a year or two when recounting these things. It's not surprising that she lumped getting out of rehab (the Klono detox) with the eventual release year of Street Angel. Stevie went to rehab in late 93', pushing SA's release date back @ 9 months. And a little while had passed after coming off SA's tour and album failure that Stevie did have the "talk" w Petty in 95' at the Ritz Carlton, infamously asking for his help with writing songs for her next record.
