This reminds me of a Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry decided that men with ugly wives must have a lot of integrity and are more trustworthy than men with attractives wives.

I would not say that these women are "ugly" at all, but I do think people like Patti Sialfa, Linda McCartney and Yoko Ono are not as attractive as people would have expected them to be.

Aw, she is his high school sweetheart...mother of his children...and yes, not nearly as cute as she should be. KIDDING. Though I clearly remember where I was when I heard he'd become engaged. I pictured some fabulous big boobed blonde as his betrothed; not an "averagely" pretty girl.

She's not a bombshell but I think she's pretty in a "girl next door" kind of way. Plus, I think it's so cool that they've been together since high school. So sweet.

Jeff Bridges is a good example of an appropriate age and looks-wise equivalent to Stevie. I would be concerned if she was with anyone too much younger than her. Look what happened to Demi Moore! And who care if he's married or not; that's never stopped Stevie before. Who Stevie wants Stevie gets!

I hate to say it, but I suspect JBJ may have been a smidge too pretty for Mama's tastes. She appreciates a "funny face" - a face that is not classically handsome, but has some kind of exaggerated feature that makes him endearing in an almost comical sense. For example, I am convinced that Stevie loved Jimmy's unibrow. She loved Mick's bulging eyes and brobdingnag height. She loved Joe Walsh's schnozzola. She loved Rupert Hine's pointy (like a stilletto) chin, just as much as she loves Dave Stewart's lack of a chin. I'd like to think her aesthetic palate is not mainstream, and that she can find beauty in the most unexpected places.
