I don't know why so many fans presume to know everything about her love life. I remember an interview where she said she's dated waiters and such. They could have been Greek Gods for all we know...

If you weren't real ugly then, she got an assurance from you that you would become ugly with age, as was the case with Les Dudek.

I wonder if it's because Stevie is and was just so beautiful. People find it interesting that someone that beautiful could be attracted to men who are (in their eyes) not in her league.

I was in a long term relationship with someone who was really not traditionally attractive, at all. Actually when I first met him, I had NO attraction to him whatsoever. But then we became great friends and before you knew it, I was totally in love.

My husband is very handsome and most people would agree about that. However, if something were to happen to make him less handsome, I would still love him and wouldn't think twice about it.

For me, I find that my opinion of someone's looks changes with familiarity. So, I might not stop being shallow, but my shallow judgments shift. When I come to know and like someone, they become more attractive physically.

Well I'm not normally hung up on looks (I think) But some of her choices made me raise an eyebrow. But we're all only human right? We all...or most of us....contain a little shallowness we would like to never admit too.

just my view

agree, nothing wrong with little shallowness... life has to be fun too

i am somewhat surprised by people preaching about shallowness in the forum where huge number of posts tend to contain swooning over how beautiful SN is. double standard maybe?! woman's looks can be discussed infinitely but man's looks should not be discussed b/c for men what's inside is important? :lol

I was looking at Viv's signature pic and thinking of how there are just some men that women gravitate to and their looks are inconsequential. Sonny Bono's face was not conventionally handsome, he had a high, nasal voice, and he was short, but Cher said that women were always crazy about him, even when he was dead broke (as he was in 1964 when Cher met him).

Some people possess an indefinable magnetism. Sometimes, it's charisma, but sometimes it's something less polished than that, but no less intriguing.

What I don't get is how it comes up a million times in other threads and it's been a general consensus, but a thread gets created out of fun and suddenly it's a serious offense to point out some of her choices were somewhat lacking in the looks department?

But, Michele is on to something - Stevie must have finally determined Joe Walsh's personality was overwhelmingly attractive and that's why she claimed to have fallen in love with him "at first sight" when she actually had known him for years. What an epiphany that was.

You think that particular night he was so funny and impressive that he caught her eye as if for the very first time?

She said the same thing about having an instant love for Rupert Hines.

One of these days she's going to see this pony-tailed guy moving rhythmically on her right and fall madly in love at first sight with John McVie.

Who knows if Stevie has ever really been in love or if she really knew/knows what true love is. I mean she always used her career as an excuse to avoid any real commitment, maybe thats why she always talks about Lindsey so much he was the closest thing to real love she ever experienced.

That makes me wonder how many people in her band Stevie has been romantic with in the past. Waddy is a safe assumption, but I'd put money on Carlos too.

Really? Eh. I don't think either one, but I'm in the minority when it comes to her list. I don't think she's necessarily been with every man in her life even if she was coked up.
