Stevie after her mother's passing?

From my experience, when you lose someone, it always seems to open up past wounds... so you have to deal with them a bit and go through the grieving process of the newly lost loved one... I haven't lost a parent (yet) therefore I can't say I know the pain, but as the story goes, losing a parent is the natural progression of the life cycle. I once asked my grandmother, who is still living, if she was afraid of death and told her I was afraid of dealing with her death...she simply said "it's natural, your children are supposed to outlive you" and I found those words extremely comforting. Stevie will go through the grieving process like anyone else...who knows, maybe reunite with an old lover or possibly have someone new in her life, which will help her get through her darkest hour... (dang diggity I wish "that girl was me") she will surely write some beautiful songs like someone else mentioned...out of great tragedy will come great music right?


Of course it’s easy for me to say all this when I’m not her… just my thoughts. For what it’s worth.
