Way to go David, I'm proud of you man!

That sounds like my kind of hangover cure!

Oh my! That's about a fortnight's worth of breakfasts for me. Glad it hit the spot.

Holy f*ck! I'd be stuffed just looking at that mountain of food. And here I had a Veggie Sausage Sandwich and I had to leave the crusts because I was stuffed lol. When you eat, you EAT XD

This sounds awesome! Perfect hangover cure.

Yesterday evening a friend of mine came round and we watched Singin' In The Rain while eating cheesecake... so it was cheesecake for dinner!

Oh yeah, I know how to eat! I was telling Maria, I will always be a 200 lb guy inside. I killed him 2 years ago, and it requires constant effort, keeping him from being resurrected! Die, fat Homie!!!!

I was still hungover, later in the day, so I went to an OLD pizza place, and had a meatball calzone!
I should try to eat really light today, but know what? I've only got two more days of vacation left, so screw it! I'm torn between Thai and Mexican. Leaning towards the Thai....

Yes, yes, go for Thai and think of me - used to have a great Thai restaurant nearby when I lived on the south coast of England. Can't say I love it as much as Chinese but it's still delish!

I usually leave the place soaking after a really hot vindaloo at the Indian!

Trouble is with Thai I find is that although it is very flavourable, it is more aromatic than spicy.

Chinese tomorrow sounds fab - you're leaving the best for last day hey?

I ordered 4/5 hotness scale last time(the server always tells me that I can't handle 5 - but they don't know me!). I think I'll get the 5 today, server be damned!

I always save the best for last(even on my plate, I always end, with a bite of my favorite thing!). My favorite thing about this Chinese place, is that they have sushi, too. Wasabi until I get violent hiccups!

See now, it's only two hours since I had dinner but you've succeeded in making me hanker after a plate or three of Chinese!

You wouldn't have to fight me for the lobster! Much as I adore it, I actually prefer crab - find it tastier and more tender.

So I'll be happy to swap my lobster for your crab!

Tonight I was in a nibbly mood so I just filled a tray, shoved it in the oven, and half an hour later was enjoying Prawn & Coriander Spring Rolls, Brie & Cranberry Parcels, and Smoked Salmon & Asparagus Vol-au-Vents! Scrumdelumptious!

I made shepherd's pie last night, using Gordon Ramsey's recipe as a template and substituting ground turkey for the lamb and then added parsnips, bell peppers and celery in addition to the carrots and onions called for in the recipe. Then I proceeded to eat way too much of it.

I'm a vegetarian *most* of the time but I do eat small quantities of turkey now and then.

Anyway, I love shepherd's pie, and Gordon's recipe is hand-down the best I've ever eaten. However, there's a restaurant a couple blocks from my house called Bittersweet and they make a vegan shepherd's pie that is absolutley amazing. They use a base of broccoli in a savory sauce and then top it with oven-roasted brussels sprouts and mashed sweet potatoes.
