So, the doctor called with the results of my urinalysis. There was a little blood & a little bacteria, and he wants me to come back for another one in a week. If it hasn't cleared up, he wants to send me to a urologist.

Things have been normal yesterday and today, so I dunno. I'm gonna be obsessed about my bathroom habits for the next week.

And because my I'm on a course containing four courses (if that makes sense) which is VERY labour intensive, the hours would literally kill me. The only person I know who has a job and is on the course is just scraping by, grade wise. The rest have dropped out over the two years I've been there. I'll just have to hope and pray, because I don't know what I'd do if the worst case happened. Might have to enrol for my final year at your Uni and kip on your couch, lol! j/k
Bee- what a nightmare. Can you not get student loans to cover your final year somewhere else, worst case scenario?

I'm already on the highest student loan available, which wouldn't stretch to accommodation and bills, etc. I'll figure something out. I have a friend in Leeds who has an empty attic. If I beg and plead I could stay in her attic while attending the Leeds uni. Hopefully it won't come to that because I know she'd prefer to keep the space for her studio.

Oh, and by the way. If somebody could come over with a shotgun, preferably double barrel, that would be much appreciated. For the second consecutive day I have Bananarama stuck in my head (Talking Italian) and....IT. MUST. END! uck.

Ok so......my mom is better. She is getting the meds that she needs to survive. But, because God has a sense of humour, I just found out that I may have the same health probs as my mom. Sooooo since her having me triggered all her medical issues, if I have kids I will have the same problems!? I'll find it all out from my dr on friday when the tests come back. Isn't life just great!? The one thing I hated and never wanted, is now what I long for and probably can't have........ How wonderful!!! I've been crying off and on all weekend. Trying to just not think about it. Put I just had to type this and put it in the universe! I'm scared sh_tl_ess and I don't know what to do. Smh....

On the flipside, I'm trying to cheer myself up by saying that if I can't have kids then I can go ahead and get nip/tuck'd right now! Lol! I've been waiting for a lil rugrat to come first but ta hell with that then! I can go get sexified!!!!! Smh......

FML!

Great news about your mom! I know it's just natural to think of the worst thing in a situation like the one you're in but try to stay positive. Don't torture yourself untill you know for certain. <3

JTIS that I picked a scab off of my leg (okay, more like my a$$, aiight?), and to my utter horror and dismay, it left a blood stain on my white wool boucle sofa. In an utter panic, I looked around for a bottle of... anything... and I came up empty-handed. For some reason I thought of Margaret Cho and one of her more, uh, graphic monologues, which included some random tidbit about her "heavy flow" days and her trick for getting the, uh, "evidence" off of the mattress. I remember her saying that blood stains can only be removed with the saliva of the person whose blood caused the stain. I figured it was an old wives tale, but I was desperate. I grabbed a paper towel, spit into it, rubbed the blood stain and hoped for the best. It worked! Buh-bye blood! Take that, Heloise!

Yes, I traipse around in the nude at home. You're welcome.

Out Of The Cradle really is one of the most incredible albums I've ever heard. I've owned my copy for over a decade and it still sounds just as special every time I listen to it as it did the first time. It's truly a master work.
