No argument. Since Election, no Reese performance could touch Miley's in The Last Song. Plus, Miley has something Reese never had: star power. Which is what one would need to play Stevie. That said, she's not blond.

Random tidbit of information: I did background work on The Last Song two summer's ago. Miley's very sweet in person and what you said about star power is true - completely charismatic. With that in mind, I still don't think she's a superb actress by any means, nor would I want her playing Stevie.

I do have to say that I think Miley's a pretty good actress. I don't think any of the music she's put out is worthwhile but I've been impressed by the maturity in her voice. I could definitely see her handling the young Nicks years.

So, we'd have someone for the high school years, Fritz, etc. Then, I'd say that just after the White album, maybe we'd change to an older actress for the big Rumours transformation.
