I agree. I don't dislike the song, as I do CTF. It just seems entirely bland to me. I could only see it as having singles potential if Taylor Swift performed it.

If any song should be dropped from the set, it's Moonlight. It does not translate well to the stage at all. In fact, I'd say it's bland and uninteresting.

On the other hand, In Your Dreams was energetic, fast paced and exciting when I saw it at Red Rocks. She belted out the "Are all those tears necesary" line with more ferocity than I've heard in a long time.

Oh meh. Like I said before, if she was gonna drop a new song, I'd prefer it be IYD over any of the others. I don't dislike it, but I like the others a lot more. I don't listen to the radio, and couldn't care less about singles. Radio edits suck - chop the first minute off of Moonlight? Are you nuts?

Also, where do music videos even get played anymore?

[QUOTE=tabruns;1007734]. Imagine if this album had come out at the height of Nicks' commercial popularity? I think she would have scored a multi-platinum album again.

I completely agree with this! I can't imagine how successful this cd would have been in Stevie's "hey day"...her story telling is at its best on this cd...Today the record buying public's attention span is so short that the story telling of WSS and Moonlight and Annabel Lee don't stand a chance as singles...Stevie should be proud of herself....she can alreadyclaim that it debuted at 6th on billboard and now if she can sell another 20,000 units with the tour and a few more television shows, maybe one last push...she can consider it a success!

Here we go again. If you don't care about singles or listen to the radio, what do you care if the 1st minute gets chopped? But I'm the one who's nuts.

Agreed, and I think this album with her old voice would have been something truly amazing.

I thought so, too, until I heard it in person. Well, not that it was bland, just that her vocal would be too rough or flat to do the song justice like on the album. I was pleasantly surprised by how great it sounded in person last week.

A single remix version of Moonlight would suffice. But I believe the song In Your Dreams is the most radio friendly track on the album.

So she could make room for her more popular classic hits like Total Eclipse of the Fart and Bette Davis Eyes.
