I meant that she was surprisingly loud - louder than she needed to be, even drowning out Adam in places (oops, this is Stevie, I mean drownding), presumably out of sheer enthusiasm. But no, her singing did not sound bad at all, it just struck me as funny, like she's suddenly thinking she's Ethel Merman or something. (Maybe if they remake Airplane she can play the downed officer who thinks he's Stevie Nicks.)

Yeah I can see a tat or two on an arm or leg somewhere but to draw across your chest and stomach looks so ghetto thuggish to me and tacky in a way. I'm funny about tats on people. They have to look and be placed just right and in moderation. Some people go overboard.

i'm pretty sure most folks get tats to please themselves and not other people. overboard to you may not be overboard to someone else.

Well that's what I meant. I was saying for (me) it is. People can do what they want to their own bodies. I like "some" tats if they look right and in moderation like I said, although I personally will never get one. With so many people getting them today I have to agree with what I read somewhere once, if you wanna be unique and different today, don't get one.

A few years ago I was having dinner with my sister and a male friend of hers who is our ages (30's) and after we parted later I asked her why he was wearing a long sleeved shirt and she said he was embarrassed at some of the stupid choices he made in his 20's of covering his arms in tat's and now ashamed of them. So tattoo's do affect some people later in life I think when you're wishing they were not there anymore. That's why I hate to see some people go covering up their beautiful skin and bodies. But it's just me.

Kinda like my sister and her "tramp stamp". Honestly, I do not know a single girl (that was not 100% trash 100% of the time) who ever got a tramp stamp and DID NOT regret it later...

And by tramp stamp I assume you mean a tattoo on the middle lower back? I have a tattoo there and I am not trash and never have been. And I don't regret it. I only have two tattoos and I chose the spots for them so that they can only be seen when I'm in a bathing suit. I wanted to make sure that I chose locations that were concealed because I'm an attorney and did not want them to negatively impact my career nor did I want them to show when I got dressed up in a strapless or backless dress.

I don't regret either of my tattoos and would consider getting another in a concealed location. So, since I don't regret it, does that make me trash, AnthonyMI? I think not.

I agree with this also.

Cammie is not trash. Cammie is treasure.

That is hilarious. Sometimes I get lost in the drowning and the "r" handling.

I think that Eventide --or whatever the box Stevie has in her pocket is -- sometimes pushes her a little off kilter when it comes to coordinating her voice with everyone else's.

Funny, I heard it on the radio and was a little bit surprised because you don't even hear it in public a lot anymore. Of course, it takes more care to perform than SDMHA does and I don't blame her for not wanting to do it with Rod, but Chris Isaak would have made a very nice parter on this song, I think.

When it comes to women especially, I think you lose looking sensual and sexy/ladylike in a nice gown or dress when you're covered up in tats. But again that's just me. Take Stevie here, her nice bare skin spoke sexiness for itself and was all she needed to stand out when showing off those arms and shoulders. You don't need tattoo's and all that just to stand out. Sometimes bare skin is all you need and looks beautiful.

Same for men too.

That was really good. Adam and Stevie's voices complimented each other's very well, and Adam looked like a kid in a candy store the whole time. You could tell he was stoked. I'm glad Stevie stuck to her word after she said they would sing together last month.

She sounds incredible.

There are multiple audience recordings of this performance, each picking up different audio elements. Stevie sounds significantly louder in the one video because of where the taper was standing.
