Apparently I don't have any, as I had sex with my boyfriend the second time we met.

I dunno...life is short. If you meet somebody and you both really want it, and neither of you is attached, then go for it. Of course, it's probably a good idea to not have any illusions that it's anything more than a roll in the hay. In my case, it did develop into a "relationship," but it could just as easily not have. And honestly, either way would've been fine with me. Actually, I think a "friends with benefits" arrangement is better for me than a "relationship" anyway.

Im surprised @ your standpoint, considering you're a buddhist

I was under the inpression that sex in most forms of buddhism is supposed to be between two people who 'love' or deeply care for each other - how can you love or deeply care for someone two dates in?

I think that's interpretation rather than actual Buddhist teaching. Which is fine. But I think, and Nichiren Shonin especially taught, that rather than trying to rigidly follow a code of moral conduct, a better approach is to allow the spirit of the precepts to be embodied naturally through the deepening of one's faith.

Anyway. I don't think I've ever posted this much Buddhist stuff on here. I'm sure everyone is enthralled.

It's whatever you're most comfortable with. I was actually just starting to really explore this more casual attitude toward sexuality when I got into this relationship. You have to be careful, though, and make sure both people are on the same page; otherwise, things can get nasty. Moreso with women, I think.

Same here. Condoms only do so much

I'm a firm (lol firm) believer in going with your gut instinct. So, in the words of Sloan, "if it feels good, do it."

I'm married and my hubby and I waited and waited and waited It was worth the wait. 28 years already so far He's a gentleman but it was sometimes difficult to wait but glad I did

More like 10 months until our wedding. I didn't make him wait 28 years That's how long we have been married
