I'm optimistic about the new album. IMO, Lindsey has written and recorded some of his very best work 1997-onwards. Imagine if Christine brings a few pop songs the quality of "Friend" (a song that was just dying to be a FM song anyway) to the table. In Your Dreams was a good effort from Stevie. I'm thinking it will be an improvement over SYW, which had some great work from Lindsey, but Stevie was hit and miss.

For me, Lindsey has become the biggest wildcard. I've only truly enjoyed a little more than a third of the music he's released over the past decade, after having loved all but a few of his songs from the three prior decades.

That said, I trust that they'll all rise to the occasion and bring their best material to the table. I couldn't be more excited about this.
