I just watched Live at Red Rocks! and I'm now even more excited, which did not seem possible four hours ago. Can it just be August now, please?
:wavey:
Love your name. If we meet we'll have to carve a little time out of the Steviefest to talk One Life--I interned there for a year and am going back in the fall (had to be there to the end:().
Wow! Thanks! I'll send you a PM : )

I sure hope she does at least one date in Florida...Hollywood would be good, and 1 date on the West Coast of Florida...somewhere between Tampa and Naples would be great.

To think people were stressing she wasn't going to tour the U.S yet have plans to come to Aus.
This bodes well for all of us.. 2011 the year of Stevie Nicks.

OMG, I can't believe it, this is 2 years in a row I get a Stevie birthday show! My birthday's the 28th and I saw her last year at Foxwoods on that day and this year I get to see her the day after my birthday, I wish this could be my birthday present every year! :blob1: :blob2:

yeah if she adds a Blossom date it will prob be around the IL,NY dates.
but she hasnt been here since 2005 i think, after the Don Henley mini tour
I read on twitter that it appears that she's just doing live nation owned venues. Blossom is the only major outdoor venue in Ohio owned by livenation that I noticed, but if I remember correctly, Stevie didn't sell too well the last time she was there. I heard the lawn was almost completely empty.
I looked up Michigan as well and the only live nation owned venues I saw were Saint Andrews Hall, Shelter, and The Fillmore Detroit. I'm not familiar with any of those though so I can't say what the odds of Stevie playing them are.
I would love for Stevie to play OH and MI but if the live nation thing is correct (and the site I was looking at), Stevie coming to this area is not looking that great. I hope I'm wrong though.

Red Rocks?!?
Stevie, you're killing me! Ha!
Well I guess this will be my excuse to apply that unused ticket to NYC for the Webster Hall show.
What are the odds that someone hands her a white winged dove that won't take off again? One of my absolute fave Stevie moments.

Because Stevie and her camp were waiting for IYD to be deemed a hit by the industry, so the promoters would come calling. Yep, it's annoying. Especially when LB's shows aren't until Sept./Oct. and I'm forced to buy tickets for both SN and LB within the same credit card billing period.
Oh I get that and it makes perfect sense - but I just think that in that case the dates could/should be later in the year to help people out with budgeting/travel plans etc.

I HAVE to see Stevie this time, but I have to fly there from Spain and then... I need the easisest place to go from NY (why the hell she doesn't play a theatre in the middle of Manhattan???). I thought about Saratoga, but that's too far. Now, I'm thinking about Jones Beach. I need your help: easiest place to go from NY? Jones Beach or Holmdel? How to get there?
Thank-you-thank-you.

First they do series holders, then mini series holders--these people don't get seat locations told at the purchase time. Then what is leftover goes on sale July 9 I believe.

There's public trans that takes you near or close to both venues.
Jones Beach: http://www.mta.info/libus/jones_beach/jbcs.htm
PNC: you can take a train to a few miles away and there may be a shuttle or you can take a bus to a park and ride pretty close.
I'm sure that between all the ledgies going, we'd help you get to either venue. You're coming a long, long way!!

At least it will give her an excuse to not move away from the mic.
Just got third row through the pre-sale, but it was American Express preferred seating, which is limited to certain cards. Go check if you have an amex card, and put in the 800 number on the back of your card. If your card is not one of the preferred, unfortunately the tickets are the usual pre-sale crap.

yeah i was at blossom the last time Stevie was there and it was so empty! the front sections were packed but that was it. i think the first niagara in burgettstown (Pittsburgh area) is owned by live nation so hopefully she will come here. the last time she was here solo was 2001 and 2005 with Don Henley.
Unfortunately, I wasn't using my own card either, and my friend's not going for it. I'm sorry. :sorry:
I have a corporate Amex card, but I can't put these types of things on it. I had to ask my friend to let me use their regular AMEX card to actually purchase.

No problem Erin. Thanks for checking. I don't have one cause I don't like to pay annual fees and it seems as though all of my friends who did have one feel the same way and got rid of their cards. Bummer. Hopefully I'll be able to find something on regular sale.

Or at the very least, an official announcement before tickets actually go on sale. Seriously, someone at Warner Bros. or Liz or whoever needs to get w/ the program. Or maybe they just think the fans prefer this torture and trolling the internet for shows and on-sale dates ourselves.

Warners handle her Cds/Music
Liz I assume Roenburg , handles her Press and any PR she (stevie) tell her to release ... I can't for the life of me wonder why so many people think this PR agent has control over anything other than getting her Picture and Name in the press ?
Stevie along with her Management are responsible for her Touring and any career move she makes .

If you mean from front row, it was Houston. I don't think I've ever been front row in Dallas when you were there.
BTW, I love that you are finally giving in & criticizing the heat at this venue. In the past you would always defend the Woodlands because the front rows had air conditioning/fans. I hate the walk from parking, especially since I sometimes get there early & they take forever to open the gates for people to come in. I've lost years waiting in that line. :p

Mmm.... Red Rocks is located west of Denver in the town of Morrison. Morrison might have some Bed & Breakfast type places... There may be better options, but you might check out the Federal Center area of Lakewood on Union Blvd., as there are a lot of hotels there. It's about a 15 minute drive to Red Rocks from the Federal Center.
If you want to stay in Denver proper, like close to the downtown area you'll find the selections of hotels, dining, etc.. much better but Red Rocks will be further away.

As of today.I do have a mixed feeling about whats going on with these ticket pre-sale scandal,Or even ticket sales. As I see it with the corrupt way of screwing true Stevie fans with these pre-sales with credit cards witch some fans dont have .Like me.If WB and Stevie put there minds together like they did for her birthday bash to have a pre-sale just for her fans.Of course the ticket companies plus Stubhub blows up the ticket prices to the moon or higher then ever before. The letter from the Webster thread came to mind from blemelin today at work.It could be tweaked and sent to her management dept.I'm just very frustrated, upset and hurt about this .Probably some of you agree with me.After spending 25 plus years seeing Stevie perform at her shows. At this time I'm thinking about throwing the towel in and get off the bus and retire.

I also noticed that the front seats are pricey, compared to her usual 125 for front these are 200 and other venues are following suit. She may sell less tix and make just as much money.

Woodlands: I've almost mentioned the a/c and fans in the pit several times in this thread, but end up deleting it.
The thing to do now is park at the new Marriott directly across the street from the main entrance. Have dinner/drinks there before the show and it's an easy walk. They usually show a DVD of that night's performing band in the bar.
On the Enchanted tour, me and my friend Karen parked faaaaar away. We both had bouquets for Stevie and had the occasional bee swarming around the flowers during the hike.

If there are 15 dates and they're up to Sept I don't see a reason for her to not come to Europe in October. She's going to Australia in Nov,right? I would be very disappointed if we miss out this time around.
This would be PERFECT for me. I'm moving to the UK in October so I can do 4-5 US shows and then see her around the UK...

Ha, then two years in a row our paths crossed. 1997 at Copper Tank (Was that the name? Hasn't it closed?) & then at Woodlands in 1998. I, too, drove in from Austin for that one. It was my 1st time in Houston & at the Woodlands. :)
As everyone knows, the Woodlands is a pretty area, but the drive up there on that ugly highway in bad traffic gives Houston some of its reputation for fugliness.

I think it's both, but that's just a guess. The tickets for this show aren't any cheaper. With service charges, etc., the top level ticket is $143.
Cammie, I'm so glad you got that ticket. I'm still surprised there were good seats in a pre-sale.
I was shocked that such good seats came up. I've checked presales many times, even for the preferred Amex, and they are usually crap. I just looked again, for kicks, and there is another front row ticket. I think with Live Nation you have 3 days to request a refund. I think you could probably call them and get them to swap out your third row for the front row, if it makes a difference to you. If they won't do that, you can request a refund and then just repurchase the front row.
I'm really excited. I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need to go to the Red Rocks show.

How big is this venue? This would really affect whether the seats further back are crappy or not. I don't need to be in the first few rows, as long as I've got a clear view of the stage.
It's been awhile since I've been to Nokia...er....Verizon Wireless in Grand Prairie. It's a fairly intimate venue, but not super club-type of small. I saw her there in 2005 and had 2nd row (got to hand her flowers during the Edge Walk and she grabbed my hand and said "Thank you!" to me![/Gushing a bit] ;) ). 6,350 seats and the chairs are VERY comfy...if you like to sit during concerts...which I don't. They also have cupholders in the seats if you like to drink during concerts.....which I don't.
They have a virtual tour here if you're interested. :)

Well, I saw FM at the Woodlands Pavillion back during the SYW tour and I had front row. It's where I handed Lindsey that book I made for him. :) The stage was very high and I had to stand on some cables to give myself a boost (I'm 5' 1") and my legs were shaking from standing on my tiptoes the entire night. LOL
Sorry I digressed, but just wanted to say the Woodlands is a lovely venue, in a nice area, but sweet hot holy h*ll, I wouldn't wanna be outside in August in Texas. It's hot as Hades right NOW, I cannot imagine what August will feel like. :distress:

The moderation team came to a consensus that it made the most sense to have all the tour info in one easy to find place vs having the info scattered & buried throughout the board. We'll work on getting all dates into the first post of this thread over the next few hours. Thanks everyone for being patient & understanding. :)

Stevie Nicks Enchanting The Woodlands August 13
Yep, just over the wire. That racket you hear is Rocks Off's staff brawling over who gets to review the show.
Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. next Friday, June 24, at ticketmaster.com, livenation.com and all the usual brick-and-mortar outlets. This helps a lot, but while we've got you on the hook, does it seem like an especially slow, dull summer concert season so far? Or is it just us?
Ah hell. See a recent Stevie set list after the jump.

Please don't. Yes, there will be an explosion of threads. But people in different cities will be interested in information/discussion that pertains to their local shows. I recall that for the Unleashed tour there were separate threads for each city. I liked it that way. Please.
When the shows start, each show will have its own thread, for pictures and reviews. It will be easier then because people will probably only be talking about the shows that are closest in time and not about all of them at once. So, you'd have about 3 different show threads for the shows occurring that week on the tour, once the tour starts, as opposed to 30 different tour announcement threads.

For us out of Denver to Manchester (better than Logan), Southwest was the best fare. Anywhere you get clam chowder out there is so good.
The best fish-n-chips was a place called the old salt(Lammie's Inn) in Portsmouth, Nh.

So, I told my mom about the awesomeness of Red Rocks, and she offered for us to potentially go, but of course we'd have to fly a far way for it, whereas she IS doing Cincinnati ON my birthday, which is much closer. I'm leaning to the birthday show.

Yeah, but the LA show was a separate birthday/record release party - not a part of this tour. And the palm springs show was part of the handful of casino gigs she did in May.
Orange County and San Diego are huge markets and kind of separate themselves from LA. I hope to God she adds more dates. :(
Jamie
For your sake and others in Cali, I hope she does too. But if you consider the Heart and Soul tour Leg 1 of the IYD tour (as I do), then she's done 2 shows at the Hollywood Bowl. The closest she came to Texas on the Heart and Soul tour was Kansas.
ETA: Jamie, I just saw your other post re: the phone call you made and finding out about no more US dates. She really does need to get her spanx-covered arse to the UK and other parts of Europe. Oh wow, did I just really just say that? I feel a Landslide parody comin' on...

PNC pavilion is part of Riverbend. But its smaller than the main amphitheater, and has no lawn seating. She wa one of the first shows to play there when they opened it in 2008 & they had folding chairs in the pit when we got there, but the numbers for our seats were beyond what seating area was available, therefore, they moved us up to stand against the edge if the stage, which was awesome! Hope that happens again this time ;)

Stevie Nicks will finally make it to the stage in North America later this summer for a month-long excursion in support of her brand new album, "In Your Dreams."
After canceling a handful of dates last month due to a bout of pneumonia, the award-winning singer/songwriter is back and preparing for a June 26 appearance at London's sixth annual Hard Rock Calling.
The U.S. leg of the tour gets underway Aug. 9 in Morrison, CO, and moves eastward, taking on 14 theater and amphitheater shows before wrapping up Sept. 4 in Wantagh, NY. The full itinerary is outlined at right.
Nicks unveiled "In Your Dreams," her seventh solo effort, in early May. The 13-track album, the musician's first since 2001's "Trouble in Shangri-La," debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200, making it Nicks' fifth Top 10 album on that chart.

She has played 4 Cali. dates this year already, including a full scale concert release show. I understand why some of you would feel "left out." I'm not trying to stir the pot but people living in Cali have it WAY better than many other Stevie fans around the world. She does an outrageous # of shows in CA every year between touring, benefits, and parties. You should be thankful for what she's done there already this year and let some of the other fans say in Ohio, London, Austrailia, Indianapolis, and Virginia have their ONE show this summer.

We are grateful it's just the kind of thing where you have a little taste and then you want MORE MORE MORE! And also, she's only been doing shows in Southern CA, not Northern CA and in case you didn't realize it Cali is a big state. I'm truly happy for all of the fans that are seeing her this tour that haven't seen her in awhile, and I don't want to take any of that away. But as far as the 4 Cali dates that you're talking about, only one of them was really considered an In Your Dreams show (the Wiltern). The 2 Rod dates were clearly not part of this new tour and neither was the casino show in Indio.
I really believe that she could easily sell tickets for venues in Northern California, Orange County and San Diego county. After all, she's doing 2 dates in NY, which is a smaller state and she was already there with Rod too
As for myself, I'm just bummed because I was looking forward to to seeing her again and really thought that was going to happen.

Just as people don't realize how large Cali is, they don't realize how large NY is. It's almost 500 miles across. People ask me all the time "how far away are you (Buffalo) from NYC?" Um. 8 hours. Just saying. Not like she's playing 2 shows in Rhode Island.

I live in NYC. I went to Nassau Colisseum recently. On paper, not a bad haul by public transportation (like tons of NYers, I don't drive). Well, I'm not kidding--it took four hours to get home, with connections being on different timetables, etc. With a car, it would probably be about an hour. All of these NY places are a horror to get to (and back) without an overnight stay--and even staying overnight--when you don't have a car to get you to the hotel, would mean being in a strange city and walking down country roads or whatever when you have no idea where the hell you're going.
I mean, that's my issue but, personally, of all of these dates, the "easiest" would be Boston, which would mean another $400-$500 for hotel/transportation costs, above the $200 for a ticket.

Preach it brother. Why the HELL she doesn't play Shea's is beyond me. UB Center for the Arts is a good option too. As much as I loathe Darien Lake, I'd go in a heartbeat. And if it's casinos she wants, she could easily do Allegany or Niagara Falls. Rochester or Canandaguia would work too.
Argh....
It's obviously a Buffalo thing. She hasn't come here since RAL I think. Maybe her sales here aren't that strong. Still, they usually cover this general area with Cleveland, Pittsburgh or TO. It's weird. Hopefully they'll add more dates.

Oh I have no illusions that it's "easy" to get to a show if you're in NYC - but you do have more options & could do it, without a long road trip/gas/hotel/etc. I can't, unfortunately. I have seen Stevie & Mac 15 times since '97; TWO of those were Buffalo shows. :D The rest I had to travel to. FAR. Was much easier for me to do BC (Before Child.)

Anybody know if they're doing any pre-sale tickets on any of these shows? I'm going to get mine for the Cincy show tomorrow morning at 10am. They're $125 for front row this time around, they were $99 in 2008, so not much difference. But, if there's any way to get them before the general public, I wanna know cuz she has a crazy fanbase here & usually 5 minutes after tix go on sale, all the pit sections are sold out.

I can't believe the Indy show is so expensive!!!! :( Why oh why?! Lawn seats are only $25 (including all of the stupid fees!) I live about an hour away... was so excited, but now I'm just ever so slightly bitter.

Hi, I'm new around here, but thought I'd chime in.
I went to the Cincy show in 2008 and bought my tix through ticketmaster a couple days before the show. I got a front row seat and was able to get to the stage no problem. I have no idea how this happened, maybe just dumb luck. That was at Riverbend though, not PNC which I've never been to.
I don't know of any pre-sale...it just all seems like a crapshoot anymore and there will prob be some tix "reserved" for scalpers. :distress:
Good luck! I'm going to Toledo and keeping my fingers crossed.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo! Ok we need a new twitter campaign. Come to the west coast Stevie!!!!!!! We`re waiting!
Email Warner Bros /Reprise records and Nicksfix websites to suggest West Coast shows as soon as possible!
Stevie has a large California fanbase and I think it will be feasible/viable to tour there even though she has been there recently!

Why is she playing the PNC there instead of actual Riverbend Center? I remember some fans preferring the center as she done past shows so I wonder why the switch? Stevie always had a good turnout at the main center smh.

2008 was the first time they put her in the PNC Pavilion opposed to the main stage, and it was packed, but I didn't understand why they did that to begin with cuz she had no problem packing the main stage in previous years. But, I think we're gonna skip front row this time around cuz the way it's looking, none of our friends that are going are doing front row this time around & we don't want to be all the way up front & all our friends be further back. And saving money on seats just means more money for some of the other shows we are going to this summer. We did the front row last time anyway & it was fun, but it was kinda aggravating to be in such a cluster-f#ck of people all smashed against the stage. It was hot as hell & you couldn't even take one hand down off the stage & turn to the side or someone would squeeze in beside you & sandwich you against someone else. It was a really tight push & not comfortable at all. The only benefit was touching her hand during the Edge walk, but other than that, it was hard to see the rest of the band & you had to look straight up, craning your neck back to see her cuz we were right against the stage... it's kinda like when you sit in the front row at the movies, it's just too close for comfort really cuz the way that pavilion is set up, the stage is about chin-height & she's pretty close to the front of the stage, so you literally have to look straight up, to see her.

Yeah I wouldn't like that then, I'm only like 5'6 so I'd be squashed and miserable the whole time. I bich about her not playing the main stage because Riverbend holds a lot of cool memories for me of her playing there on past tours so that's why. Even though I live in FL now I still think it's cool she's booked for Cincinnati and Riverbend so far. You fans take pics and video for us and share  Hopefully some FL shows pop up on the bill again soon.

Just got a 4th row center seat for Toledo!
First time I've gotten a good seat the morning of the on-sale.
Now I need to force myself to refrain from continuing to look back for something better.

Are we assuming that this is not the "End Stage" setup, but rather the other one (listed as someone's name...I can't really remember what it was right now) that had F1, F2 and F3 as the front?
If so, yay for us!

^I called Huntington Center about that and they said F1,2 and 3 were the front sections. She didn't sound so sure so I called TM to confirm and they did as well. I had a third row ticket pending on TM online but when I called the guy was able to get me a second row ticket!

Yes, thanks for calling...I thought it would be "End Stage"....so instead of Row 7 center they appear to be Row 4 on the right end...I can deal with that.
