My bad. I was thinking of the "other" "other" board, as I've been getting a few PMs over there lately. Check your PMs on the board you meant. This stuff is so damn confusing!

They used to call me Jack Tripper. Seriously, like in Jr high. Said I acted just like him.

It broke my heart when he died. :(

I think I kinda did look like him, but I've always been a (class) clown, too. It broke my heart too(I couldn't BELIEVE he was gone). He died the same day as Johnny Cash. He was the embodiment of youthful, innocent, slapstick, humor.
The Cosmo Kramer of his time.:)

It was indeed sad. He died way too young. I loved his work. :(

I think I kinda did look like him, but I've always been a (class) clown, too.I always thought John was such a handsome guy... made all the more attractive by his goofy sense of humour.
It broke my heart too(I couldn't BELIEVE he was gone).
It was indeed sad. He died way too young. I loved his work. :( The day it happened, my brother said to me, "did you hear that John Ritter died?"
I probably looked at him like he had three heads as I tried to figure out which OTHER "John Ritter" he might be talking about... because he certainly couldn't have meant John Ritter.
He should have lived to be 90.

I haven't seen/heard much of Tex, as I am not too fond of Westerns. However, Thelma was great. Pity she never won an Oscar.

Tex Ritter was friends with my Elementary School principal. There was a big white Cadillac there one day, with steer horns on the hood. He told us it was Tex Ritter. I had no idea who that was for several years(probably until John made it big, and read about it in Mom's "People".
Who is Thelma?

Can someone tell me why the word "definitely" is so difficult to spell? It's always written as "definately" or even the extreme of "deffinatly", but no matter what variant people use, they seem to use it consistently so it isn't just a simple typo. I used to belong to the "definately" group myself.
after reading thirty-two pages of this thread, this is the first post i felt compelled to respond to. it's definitely. it has the word finite in it, as the word means 'indisputable' or 'limiting'... but that's just the english teacher popping out in every day life.
that's another. every day. stevie's song is Every Day. that means 'each day.' some people think the song is everyday, though, which means 'ordinary' and 'unremarkable.' ps i'm spending my break grading tests and essays, blech.
