Me, tooooooooooooooo.

BTW, have you seen Left of the Dial? I've been meaning to ask you. She had me on the floor in that thing.

"He told me the reason I wasn't beautiful was because my face wasn't symmetrical. So, I handed him $17,000 and told him to do the best he could."

He comes across as shy, naive little kid for the most part. ****ing weird, but harmless. Tina? Christ. She's the kind of woman that you invite over for dinner and then when she finally shows, you can't wait to get rid of her and even entertain the idea of lacing her food with quaaludes to curb her endless bitching. Apparently, she didn't like what the author was writing and told him that she was going to rewrite the book for him. When he refused, she clammed up and wouldn't participate.

Chris comes across as a lemming who will follow wifey no matter what she does or says. Jerry seems laidback. Granted, I've only gotten halfway through it, but oh my. The stories about them touring with The Ramones in Europe are priceless, as are the ones about Warhol and his piss paintings.

And did you know that Tina's mother wrote the French lyrics to Psycho Killer? I didn't!

"Strike the last hour
In their glass towers

Made the curtain fall

And the tune goes on eternally

And those freaks sense they're superior
They're hypnotized, you see
They wave and we agree..."

it went good, I have to schedule an EEG, a MRI of my brain, An MRI of my neck & spine, blood work for SED Rate, VIT B-12, TFT's & a glucose tolerance test (2 hour).

The Neurologist thinks either the calcification is an older injury to my brain (Remnants of a stroke and/or hemorrage) or it is a current tumor growing affecting my motor skills.

Currently listening to the "nice" song "F*ck You" by Damageplan from their "Nice" disc "New Found Power"!!!

Forgot to mention I have to take my blood pressure several times a day and record the readings, Dr.El Zind seems to think something may also be wrong with my heart (Along with my recent/current esophagus problems makes it appear I could have some type of neuro-muscular problem brewing.)

And I'll have to track down this remix...

If you can't, you can always just ask me for it.

(Personally, I think the Moroder mix is ten times better than even the album version. He brings her vocals right up to the very front of the mix and they're clear as crystal.)

Carbon Leaf - Indian Summer (the album) - I'm not familiar enough with it yet to know the name of the song I'm listening to :p I just got the album yesterday - the cover is in my car...and I'm not.

Definitely. I love their harmonies. But unfortunately that;s the only worth while thing Christine did on the whole album IMO, harmonize on a Stevie song. I love Chris, but her songs sucked on Mirage IMO.

I actually like "Wish You Were Here." I think "Only Over You" is the worst thing she's ever recorded. And I also love her part on "Eyes of the World." :)

Listening to "As Long as You Follow"

Franz Ferdinand- "Do You Want To"

Is anyone else listening to it? Is it out yet or whatever? It doesn't slam you the way "Take Me Out" did, but I like it!!

I've heard it on live boots, but not the studio version. Glad to hear you like it, I can't wait to hear it. :D

That album title, though. And the cover art. Eeeeeeek.

Yeah, the title is something else, but at least there's a title... we were all mildly freaking out when they told NME and others that they just wanted it to be self-titled, and they wanted all their albums distinguishable only by the colors used on the covers. Yeah. That's not a total nightmare. -_-

I'd upload the track but I'd get, um, fired. They're sending it out to radio now so if it hasn't leaked already it will very soon.

I believe it's premiering on BBC Radio today, so I'm sure it'll be all over the internet for download within a day or so. :) But since you seem to like it, it's bound to be pretty great. The few reviews that I've read of the album say that it's quite different than the first one, but that it's much better. "Outsiders" and "Walk Away" are supposed to be kick-ass tracks. The band just recorded some new songs to act as b-sides, and they have some tracks leftover from the album sessions (I know they recorded "Your Diary," but dropped it), so I'm hoping that we get a release along the lines of the first album's special edition with a bonus disc.

I got a kick out of them saying in NME that they didn't want to name it because album titles are pretentious, yet they name it and come up with You Could Have It So Much Better...With Franz Ferdinand. Just ****ing gag me already.

Cher: You Take It All

This is one of those songs I've had phases of total obsession with. I used to listen to it on repeat for hours back in the day. I like the synthesizers in it.
