Yea, if you are the "We're done and you can kiss my a$$" type...then Stevie songs are good for you. If you are the "I'm dependent on you and crave your love and attention" type (like me :o ) then Christine songs are the road for you...hehe.

Oh I'm definitely the "We're done and you can kiss my a$$" type. Then again, I also feel like hitting him over the head with a baseball bat then shoving the knob end up his ass. Maybe I should listen to like...Slayer or something.

Stupid jackass! I have a crush on a guy at work but it would be a bad idea to get involved with him. I just spent an hour flirting with him on IM though. We have chemistry but we both just don't want to go there. Or only I have it, I don't know, it seems mutual but I'm not sure. However, I did just put up a profile on a dating site so keep your fingers crossed for me, please. The last thing I need is to find another complete commitment-phobe.

Listening to my fan right now and wishing someone would leave the office so I can sneak out. All the employees are gone but we contractors do not get to leave early with pay. I mean, I don't expect to work for nothing but it is difficult to watch everyone leave and have to still be here. Oh well, I am lucky to have a job and one that I like at that! Still, it doesn't hurt to b*tch every now and then! :D

Trust me, I know. The heart is dumb. I am going to stay away from that situation though. Even though I don't really want to. I know, I'll just get a different job! Hehe.

PS, Celebrity Skin has songs that remind me of the last person I dated that I worked with. That was a bad bad scene. So, I haven't forgotten and haven't done it since! Listening to this will keep me the hell away from "the guy". Haha.

I cannot take the heat
I guess I'm letting go
I'm tired of stitching up my dreams with
This thread of hope

I'm still a believer of
Twin hearts and timeless love
And all I ever wanted was
The feeling I had with us

The road of life is rugged
Any road you choose
And when I find the other side
I'll look for you

But I cannot take the heat
And so I'll say goodbye
A million things I never said
Didn't even try

'Cause words are cheap and sometimes cruel
And stuff you hear is seldom true
And all I ever wanted was
The feeling I had with you

You have good taste. I rememeber CS being compared to CA rock of the 70s, like FM.

Mine eventually left the company but we worked side by side for months and it was agony.

The current guy is someone I have known for a long time. He's really a good person and I've watched him grow into a man. He's impressed me. But he is too close so it isn't wise. He also is a serious commitmentphobe. But if we are still not married at 40 then we are going to get married, haha.

The problem is another friend at work just broke it off with her GF so she's been organizing social gatherings with us to keep busy. Every time we all go out C and I wind up talking and such but this time something was deeper. Instead of just an attraction somehow I have developed *feelings* for this guy. I suppose that a redirect of my romantic energies is in order! :o

Is it scary?

just melodic and absolutely brutal, (Warrel Dane has a great voice that sounds nothing like it did when he fronted his former band Sanctuary)...A great concept album about a woman who drowned and calls for her beloved to come join her (The artwork can be found at http://www.nevermore.tv under "Discography"...There are also downloads available on the website). The title track "Dreaming Neon Black" will stick in your head long after you hear it, Believe me...I want this song played at my funeral whenever I bite it.

Metallica just wishes they could make an album such as "Dreaming Neon Black" (I also recommend Nevermore's "This Godless Endeavor" which is more pure thrash metal than "DNB")

I got the Starmate replay system with the car and home kit. When the boom cube comes out for the Starmate in February I plan to get one. This saturday I'm gonna hook it up in my car so all the wires are hidden. I just haven't decided where to mount it and whether to use the suction cup thingy or the velcro. I think I'm leaning towards the velcro thing though.

I'd like to find a little carrying case for the radio. I was surprised that Sirius doesn't carry anything like that. It's ok though- I can get creative. Maybe a sunglasses case or something.

Believe it or not these local guys do a pretty good version. John can get that high note! http://www.hypercane.com. They cover rock songs from all eras, mostly the heavier ones but they do songs like Rick Springfields' "Love Somebody" because they're so fun! They don't do it so much as a duet though.

She hit it. It's that note man, what a climax! "Why can't we give love?"

Holy crap - what a HUGE voice. It lifts the scalp and gives me chills. I have to say also, that it makes me appreciate the Freddie Mercury version again as she imitates his scat-singing. Her singing is so clear, I never really heard all of the lyrics before. This song reminds me of high school - a rare moment of wistfulness for that time.
I like Bowie's little "go girl" at the beginning. Thanks for sharing this, and the Bowie "changes"! I tried to get some live Bowie from Dime last night (after David asked for a hit of "Changes" but the peers petered out after an hour or so.

She's so tiny, too, so it's a bit surprising when you see her holding that huge bass and letting that voice just roll out of her mouth.

That's awesome, you got to see him before those ill-advised & overblown stadium tours in the late eighties. Those shows would have been truly spectacular in smaller venues, but not in stadiums.

No, actually they *were* really overblown and in a huge stadium. It was the LA Forum, Aug '83. I should have said early and mid 80's. We paid a ton for the first show, and had terrible seats, off to the side.

awww I have actually done it...drunk...at a bar (under age, yea yea i know...but they didn't ;)) it was sometime last year...and they did have the song...

I think I might have actually played "air keyboards" during the song....:o

 Cool. I'll have to look for it next time I'm out. Last time I did "Hella Good" and the emcee told me I had "the moves". Oh that was fun!

I could listen to that soundtrack every day, but that would mean crying every day.

Right now, listening to "Romancing the Violin", I think a Joshua Bell piece.
