I got my order in the mail today for Peanut ( my Jackahuahua~~he is pretty awesome and cool! ) His Christmas presents...a gray hoodie, a cute t-shirt and a pair of sungoggles for the summer. He loves to wear clothes. His Rock N Roll T-shirt is his favorite. I wish I had a digital camera, I would show him to you!

They are cute..I love those candid pet snuggle moments...they're always so sweet and there is so much love between pet and owner..I just love it...

I tried to snap a picture of Clancy this morning - she was in her snow boots (yes I have snow boots for my dog) and she kept plungeing her head into the snow...so her head and nose were covered...she was all spastic and cute...but I couldn't get a shot of her :distress:

Then when her drool started to freeze before falling off her mouth I had to give in and take her inside...

Hee. My brother's cat is like that... She'll come around, meowing and hinting at wanting to be picked up.. So you go to pick her up, and she cannot get away fast enough! Silly bitch. Did I post a picture of her in here? She's a little fluffball.

Clancy is not much of a cuddler at all -so when she does want cuddles I'm more than happy to provide...same with licks..she's not a licker at all so when she gives me the occassional kiss it makes me very happy....

god...I had spaghetti the other night. I was letting them lick the plate..I was holding it up. Max was licking the wrong side.

Oh so he's a smart dog?

Mufasa is not a snuggly kitty unless he is cold. And then he will mostly snuggle with your legs cuz he doesn't like to feel confined. Once in a while he'll snuggle on my lap or chest watching TV. My Mom's dog Ozzy on the other hand is VERY snuggly and has to be right ON you. That is, when he is not demanding you play chase with him. He's great that way with little kids like Kenzie who can just run with him all day. He loves it. I want a pet who wants to be my snuggle bunny most of the time. That would be so nice. Mufasa is a little traitor and sleeps with my roommate.

And I've been meaning to ask you - how is Cash??

So so. He had some more small growths removed from his neck last week, so he's all stapled and **** again. And he's having a hard time keeping solid food down, since the surgery. We skipped his chemo this week, since he's feeling so poorly. If he could just keep the food down, and get his appetite back, I think he'd be okay, for now.
He had the same surgery a little over two months ago, and came back from it(when he acted like he wouldn't/couldn't). Hopefully he can do it again. I feel like I've accepted the inevitable though. I'm so tired and broke, and of course it makes me feel terrible, when he feels terrible.
Sorry so depressing.....

hi homer, i just read this and it broke my heart! :distress: i'm so sorry to hear about all you and cash have been through. i know how hard that is, god, sometimes the responsibility you feel is so crushing, it seems like nothing you could do would ever be enough. but it's plain and clear how lucky cash is to have you on his side to see him through it all, no matter what the outcome. he's very blessed and i'll be thinking good thoughts for the two of you.

So so hey homie...we haven't chatted in a while but you and Cash have been in my thoughts often. Cash has just got to get to having some good days...we want him feeling real good asap. I wish there was something I could do to make that happen. What have you been offering for food samplings? Many hugs for you, especially during the toughest of times which is probably where you are at right now. I am praying for some tailwags of feeling good, a better appetite, and for you both to have better days/nights ahead.

I worked 13 hours today(:( ,couldn't be here to nurse him). I finally got a few NIBBLES of chicken down him now, then a few small spoons of Frosted Flakes. Thank God he's not thrown that little bit up. I'm going to wait another half hour, then try to get about a half can of Ensure Plus down him(waiting - in hope that nothing comes back up).

This rich old bitch had her Scottish Terrier?(about 5-10 lbs bigger than Cash) in the vet's office yesterday. (okay, Cash runs loose in the vet's office, they even let him back in the carpeted receptionist's area with them. He comes and goes as he pleases. They call him their [ala Wallyhell] "greeter", as he runs to the door, tail wagging, anytime someone comes in). Anyway, when they "called" the old bitch, she wouldn't walk her dog past Cash, until I picked him up and held him(out of fear that he was going to hurt her dog). They all laughed at her, and told her that Cash was the most passive dog that ever lived, and she was being silly.

He is the gentlest, most social dog, that ever lived. He's never met a stranger.

Death, for all of us, is inevitable. God I'll miss him when he's gone.

hey homie...we haven't chatted in a while but you and Cash have been in my thoughts often.

Thanks. He's pretty much sick of almost everything. Occasional things he'll eat are:
Arby's Beef and Cheddar.
Fried chicken(not the skin though, he doesn't like that)
Fried Chicken Livers and Gizzards.
Frosted Flakes.
Purina Cat Chow.
Cookies(occasionally).
The "pork on a stick" at Chinese restaurants(my vet calls it "rat on a stick"[sorry Vicky!!!!])
And he was picking at some leftover T-day turkey, but he's over that now....

I don't know why he's having such a hard time keeping solids down(the vet doesn't either). At least I got a little bit down him this evening.

At least I got a little bit down him this evening. Yes, that is all you can really do is make the offerings. I, again, pray he does better with the eating. If the vet doesn't know why, that is very puzzling. I think that would half drive me insane, wondering and feeling helpless in finding a reason. I can only offer you my empathy and prayers in this situation so please know you have that. Continue doing your best homie, as I know you are, and keep us updated.

-Don't read the following, if you can't take "nasty health related stuff"-
Well(in the too much info dept), when they did his mandibilectomy(one year! ago now[he was initially given 6-9 months to live - we're entering month 23!!!! today]), they told me that he might eventually have to have his saliva gland removed(on the side of the mandibilectomy, as it wouldn't be able to properly "discharge"). Anyway, he IS having THICK mucus-sy slobber problems lately. AND, when he does throw up, the food is usually covered in this hard, rubbery mucus(this is not just slobber, it's.......rubber-y). I think that's the problem with throwing up. But the vet thinks that if his saliva gland was the problem, there'd be a lump in his neck, where it was "backing up".
So, they past couple of days, I'm walking around with a pocket full of Kleenex's. Anytime a thick slobber starts hanging out, I grab a Kleenex, and "roll" this thick, heavy, rubbery stuff onto the Kleenex. Gross? Yes.
Anyway, that's my theory on why he's throwing up, and he kept this food down tonight(that I'd cleaned enough of this crap out of there- knocking on coffee table now). I hope I'm right.

homie...I am not going to whitelie ya...your detailed descript made me gag. anyways...how does the vet expect that gland to get backed up etc if cash is taking in little food etc. I would seriously have them look further into the gland and consider having it removed...perhaps they can decipher where the goop is coming from. I wish I was a vet and could help you.

Oh I pick up ornaments off the floor every day. I just make sure that those lower down aren't breakable or valuable. The tree is artificial, so they can't really climb it like a real one, though they've tried in years past.

The main issue is the presents. I'm keeping mine locked up for now and won't put them out until a week or so before Christmas, otherwise the ribbons will be shredded and the paper torn up.

I haven't experienced any present shredding. They leave that for my vinyl album collection. well...they did until I shelved them. 500 albums with shredded side titles...nice.

God I'll miss him when he's gone.

those people are dumbasses homie. At least your vet took up for him!! and terriers are usually (I SAY USUALLY!!....I know some people on here have them, but all that I know always think they're the ****-ie...my dad's ) aggressive...so they need to STEP back!!!

I'm the queen of saliva...don't you know?? ;) anyway...it's not gross. It just is what it is..he can't help it. Anyway..I've done some research and talked to my dental peeps. They agree not removing the saliva gland/duct. etc. But what about a medicine to regulate his saliva? there are things humans can use to regulate salivary flow, so i can't imagine it can't be done for cash. Most of the ones I have seen come in gum form (although I realize that wouldn't work for him ;) ) but if there were something else we could try. If that is what's causing the vomitting..(I would get sick too if I had that ..poor little guy) then voila. I'll see if I can check into it some more...

Homie, let me say this, your dedication and loyalty to Cash is amazing.
I went through 1 week with Banjo being sick. Just one week. Every night I held him and petted him and talked to him for hours and never knew if he would be alive when I woke up the next morning. I barely slept. When I did sleep I had nightmares.
Two weeks later I still have them.

How you have been able to withstand this for so long I will never know.
I would go to bed wondering If I would literally die from worrying. Every moment of every day I was on edge and in a near constant state of panic. You of all people know that is not an exaggeration.

Please know you have my admiration, my awe, and my best wishes.

Thank you, Sparky. Yes, it's been awful(especially when he's not doing well, as of late). Thirty minutes ago, he climbed onto my chest(something he's never done), and fell asleep, with his head beneath my chin. I wondered if "it" might be happening(I've had this dreaded feeling lately). But, he awoke just now, and climbed over beside me. I've gotten a few spoons of vanilla pudding down him.

The panic you speak of- I had it for quite awhile, after he first became sick. I still do, somewhat, BUT, after you see them in a suffering state(for more than a couple days), I think that you come to accept the inevitable. Yeah, it sucks!

I love him. He's my best friend. We've been inseparable for almost 9 years. I only hope that I have the wisdom to know when it's time to call it a day, and know when the amount of suffering, is more than he should have to go through.

Well friends, I think it's time.
Ever since Cash's last surgery, 24 days ago, he's never (for the most part) been able to keep solid food down. He tries, but it usually can't stay down, even with meds for nausea. He's become pretty lethargic(although he walked with us, playing golf on Monday. He even chased a couple of balls). Also, his breathing has become somewhat labored. I had to put earplugs in, to sleep last night, because I couldn't quit focusing on his breathing.
A few hours ago, I noticed his urine was either brown or red(I wasn't able to capture any of it). I WOULD'VE taken him in this evening, but "his" vet is off on Thursdays. I know it sounds silly, but we've been through SOOO much with her, that IF we're going to put him down, I want it to be with her.
So, I guess we're going to do one last blood and urine test, tomorrow, and if they're bad, we're going to put him down. We might do it, even if they're not.
If we do, one of the vet techs(with whom I've become friends, with her and her husband), has volunteered to drive his body to the pet crematory(if he's not driven there immediately, he'd be in a freezer til they come pick him up, and she has issues with that [I'd told her that I hated the thought of driving with his body], so she volunteered).
If the blood and urine tests come out okay, I MIGHT chicken out tomorrow(although I doubt I will).

I can't imagine saying goodbye to him.

After talking to my friend that runs a rescue farm(they deal with dying animals everyday, so I think they know more about animals being in pain, than I do. And from what he described, I don't think Cash is in any pain). Oddly, I've gotten about half a can of prescription dog food down him this evening(which of course makes me have doubt/hope). Sooo, I think I've decided that I'm going to let the blood and urine tests decide for me tomorrow. If that IS blood in his urine, then we'll put him down. Because wouldn't that most likely mean the the cancer has spread to kidneys or bladder? If that's the case, I think ending it is the only choice. If the tests come out okay, I "think" I might hold out for a few more days.

I know, I can't seem to let go.

Thanks guys. My rescue friend told me that maybe the discolored urine was just that he's dehydrated, and it's just dark due to lack of fluid in the urine. The vets been giving him a big IV bag of fluids, every 2-3 days, for the past couple of weeks. But, Tuesday was the last day that he got that, so hopefully that's it(but it's never been that dark before:( ). I'll capture some when we wake up, for the test.

50 minutes to go. I don't know what to do. His urine looked MUCH more normal today. And his breathing was better last night(it's weird, his breathing isn't labored most of the time, only some of the time). I've gotten him to eat a little more food, too. But still, I know that the cancer is progressing through him.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! I guess I'll let the vet decide. I've begged her to tell me when it's time. She always tells me that I know him better than she, so it's really up to me.

Well, we didn't put him down.
His urine was okay. His blood counts are getting low, and he has some infection, though. He's also dehydrated, and needs the lactated ringers daily(the big IV bag, that I thought was just water) , sooooo,

I now know how to give shots, and the IV bag(I HATE needles, btw). I told her that I could bring him in daily, and she said, "I'll teach you how to do it, instead". So, I'm giving two antibiotics shots, and the lactated ringers, daily, for now.

But, the end is probably still near. I told her I was putting the decision in her hands, and she said if he was hers, that she wouldn't do it, just yet. If he can get past this infection, he might have a while longer. I've got a mixed bag of emotions on this. I feel selfish for not ending it today, and very relieved too, that we didn't.

Thanks for the update...I'm glad he's doing a bit better - and I'm glad it was not blood in the urine. I don't think you're being selfish -and if the vet thinks it's best put off for a while...that's all the assurance I'd need

I told her I was putting the decision in her hands, and she said if he was hers, that she wouldn't do it, just yet.

I think that's a good idea. Years ago when I had a sick cat, I did the same thing. I asked my vet to eventually make the decision for me since I just couldn't.

Hang in there, David.

Well, it's time.
Cash had a terrible night last night. He started crying, right before we went to bed. I gave him the only pain med I had(Metacam), and it didn't help at all. He cried and groaned, most of the night, and tried to throw up several times. We could try some stronger pain meds, but I feel that he's truly suffering now(he just started crying right now, too).
The vet's going to meet me at 4PM(in a half hour). I thought about waiting until tomorrow, but the crematory is open from 4-6 today, so I don't see any reason to make him go through another night.
My heart is breaking, for me and him.

Thanks to all you kind people who've helped me through the past 23 months with him. I truly appreciate it.

I am sorry, Homer.
I think you are brave and kind to let him go, now that you see he is in pain.

We gave fluids to a 21-year old cat for a year, and I regret that we kept her alive, when (I now believe) she was in pain and needed to be let go.

I think you have done all a loving friend could do, and it is beautiful!

Thanks to all. It's over now.
He walked in, wagging his tail for the vet and the tech(which still gave me doubts about doing it). They put a catheter in his leg, then gave me a few minutes alone with him. He looked scared, like maybe he knew what was happening. I just layed over him on the table, and told him how much I loved him. The vet came back in, and asked if I was ready. I was still laying over him. She put the syringe into the catheter. About 10 seconds later, he relaxed his head down to the table, and that was it. He was gone. It was really peaceful. I guess some animals have spasms, big gasps of breath, or lose control of their bodily functions. I am so thankful that none of that happened. They wrapped him in a small comforter, then put him in a box, and put him on my backseat.
I drove him to the crematory. I stood and talked to the lady there about him for at least 30 minutes about him. She wanted to know if I wanted a last look. I was afraid that maybe he'd lost control of himself, so I asked her to look first. Nothing had happened, so we looked at him for a few minutes, then I left. His ashes will be ready, tomorrow evening.
I sure miss my best friend.

Thanks again. I've been walking around stores for the past 5 hours, not even buying anything. I couldn't stand to come home. It's just not home without him.
And the damned crematory told me to not even call today, to check if he was ready, that his ashes will be ready in the morning (today's morning). She told me she was cremating him last night, so "just come on in, today". "She" wasn't there today, and the guy who was, told me that they hadn't even gotten to him yet. So now I get to envision that he's been frozen, or worse, just lying around. I hope she's there tomorrow, because I intend on "thanking her".
Sorry, but I feel the above is disrespectful, to me and him.

Well, he's home now. The first thing the crematory lady did was apologize for yesterday, so I didn't have to kill her with a rusty knife. Although she did tell me that they didn't freeze him, so I'm trying not to think about how he was "stored". His ashes are in a tin, a little bigger than a yogurt container(I figured there'd be more). The weird thing- they gave me back the "comforter thing" that the vet gave him to pass away on. It makes me sad holding it, but I think I'm going to keep it(I had planned on returning it to the vet). I can't explain why.....it just makes me feel closer to him.

I'm doing much better today, though. I sure do miss him, but I'm glad that any suffering is over.

When they returned Maggie, my beloved, I had a little ceremony and put her ashes on the grave of her sister Mimi, who we put down about two years earlier. It took awhile for me to get over that, but it did happen. Of course, I spent more than one night still looking around corners for her. The intereting thing to me was my two new ones (Wynn and Laine) looked for her for awhile as well. In the end my friend, only time can do it.

Also, I had a panic attack when the house was sold and Mimi was literally in the ground and Maggie's ashes were there. But, that too passed. Of course, a few days before the move, I showed up three sheets to the wind and burned a candle on the spot.

In the end, it just sucks, but you did the right thing.

I am so sorry to hear about Cash, Homie. I know that you loved him and did everything that you could for him. It reminds me of all that my friend did for her dog Bandit. He too had cancer and it was only a matter of time. She had to make that same decision back in the summertime. It was not easy but she had no choice. He seemed just to get really bad all of a sudden.
Pets become part of out families and we love them just like a member of the family sometimes. I know that Cash, in his dog's soul loves you and all that you did for him.

That's why I want to keep Cash's ashes(wow, that rhymes, and sucks) with ME. I've instructed my family that I want to be cremated also, and his ashes put in the same urn as mine(yes, I STILL don't have a will.....that's been on my "list" for the past 5 years).

My dog that I grew up with is buried at our- long since sold- family home. I walk by there a couple times a year(my aunt still lives right down the street), but haven't ventured into the yard. If the people were ever outside, I think I'd ask if they minded me taking a look. I remember worrying about her grave, when Mom sold the house.

I went and visited my friend's house, for dinner, tonight. "Matt" was Cash's original owner. They're the ones(he and his wife) who run a rescue farm. I was fine with all the dogs they had running around......for hours.....until I finally kissed this little dog on the head. THAT, started the waterworks.:o Not too bad, but still....

Then, I get home(just now). I had two sympathy cards in the mailbox, from two cousins of mine. Both cards had a short letter on how much the whole family loved Cash, and how much he'll be missed by all(he went with me to all family functions). Here I go again.:o

I'm doing really well, until something really digs up a memory, then I lose it.:o

Homie, I really feel for you! I have also lost a couple of pets I've been really close to. It takes a long long time to cope with it.
They say "time heals all wounds' but I think some wounds never completely heal, it just make them a little less painful. Give it time, and don't be afraid of "losing it", it's all part of the grieving process.

Not sure if you've ever seen this poem, but it helped me a lot when I lost my dog/friend Zeus.

Thanks Sparkster. I'll be okay, in the end. A little crying never killed anyone. Of course, I miss him more than anything in the world. But, life has a way of dealing us lemons. We just have to make lemonade. That's the key.

Sleeping without him in the bed, is by far, the hardest part. My teddy bear.:o One of the things that I loved about cold weather was - he would snuggle up against me so tight, that I couldn't(wouldn't) move, because I didn't want to wake him up. He'd completely "spoon" my backside(shoulders really, he was only 30ish lbs), and I'd wake up with both his front legs/paws across my face. On those days, I'd lie there still, maybe a full half hour after I awoke, because I loved it, having my best friend so close.

OMG...Bubba looks really miffed  So cute.

So...I came home to a gross mess. I stupidly left some kleenex and possibly food within Clancy's reach - well aparently she ate them....and got so sick while I was at work. I walked in to a little (well not so little) pile of runny poo

I cleaned that up, after taking her out, at which point she major pooed again...then I came in, went to the bathroom to wash my hands and discovered that she'd pooed in the shower...which is bizarre - she never goes in there!!

Poor thing...I just hugged her little sick body...I can't get mad at a sick dog - especially when it's my fault for leaving crap within her reach :o

Hee- doggie antler pics. I hope Clancy gets better soon!

So, I dog-sat for Mark, one of the attorneys I work for...an adorable beagle named Boshi and she's a total sweetheart. However, she has major separation anxiety issues. The first (and only) time I left her alone in the house, she pulled down 8 of my vertical blind panels and proceeded to gnaw on them. I came home to a mess of 'em scattered around the floor, and couldn't get mad at her, I just laughed and said, "What did you do? Your daddy's gonna pay for that!" Mark and his wife were totally cool about it and offered to reimburse me for the damage, I knew they would be. Anyway, take a look! She looks guiltier in the second pic, and note the filthy paw marks on the ones that would have been next to come down.

The fact that they left me her leash, doggy treats and tranquilizers - not a good sign. :D She's totally used to being at their house alone all day, but she also has a doggie door there. I think she was trying to create one at my house. I took her to work w/ me yesterday and today. She literally can not be alone for more than 10 seconds, follows you everywhere. I told her that despite her bad breath and anxiety issues, I still lubbed her and she was welcome back anytime!

Well I'm officially freaked out and worried.

Clancy's had some tummy issues the last few days. I changed her food - so I expected them to continue while she gets used to this new food (it's a better food than what I was giving her and this one is especially for sensitive systems) but tonight I was petting her and noticed a large lump under her mouth....

She is due for her comprehensive exam in January - so I'm gonna get it checked out - but I'm scared. She does have another lump on her head - the vet said that was nothing...and the one under her mouth is similar - I've just never noticed it before which concerns me.

I hope it's nothing...but my girl is 11 this month....I'm worried :o

And last night...blood in her stool...so I'm officially freaked out. The vet is closed today so first thing tomorrow I'm making an apointment -their great and will hopefully get her in tomorrow or even the next day.

That's a good question! No clue why she all of a sudden likes being in the bathtub - previously I couldn't get her near the thing. But that's where she's been going when she gets scared/nervous :distress: Of course she can get IN but can't get OUT...so mama has to lift her 95pound body out.

My sister has always been the dog owner, so she did have some insight - mostly as to the blood in Clancy's poo and the lump - it made me feel better -but I'm still getting her into the vet tomorrow or Wednesday. Thankfully I have a ton of points to redeem on my PetRewards card...and they go toward vet visits :D

When Cash wasn't feeling well(and I don't mean at the very end - I'm NOT trying to scare you) he started finding weird places to lie. Almost like he was hiding. The vet and I both feared that he was withdrawing(preparing to die). That's the surgery before the last one, where he had the huge abcess/infection. So he WAS feeling like ****, and I guess, didn't want to be bothered.
Once we got the abcess removed, and the infection cleared up, he was back to normal. Maybe this new lump is some sort of infection that needs removed. I sure hope it's nothing.

That's what I've been fearing, that her new places to lie is a way of hiding and/or withdrawing. The one comfort I have though is she only goes to those weird places when startled or scared (by loud upstairs neighbors - or by me yelling at said neighbors).

I've been thinking about you and Cash, and I'm freaked out about this little thing I don't even know abotu - I can't even imagine what your mental state must have been like while caring for Cash...you're an even more amazing person than previously thought!

Not according to someone else here!

Cash was such a trooper, bouncing back from all the surgeries, radiation and chemos. He came back sooo many times, that I think I fooled myself into thinking that he could do it forever.
His initial prognosis was 6-9 months, and we got 23! When I told the researcher at U of Wisc that we were heading into month 22, with oral melanoma, she couldn't believe it. Honestly, I think I just loved him too much to let him get sick enough to die.

I miss him so much.

And I think you should INSIST to your management, that they either STOP the clown car apartment, or let you out of your lease immediately, with deposit refunded.

It's such an amazing story - and honestly with all your updates I, too, thought he would keep on trucking. These little guys become like our children - right now Clancy means more to me than any person...I can't imagine life without her....as I'm sure you couldn't with Cash :( The reality is though that Clancy is an old girl...I knew what I was getting into when I adopted her :o

The deposit thing may be too late as I've not put two holes in the wall and ceiling with my broom handle :o

Yes, folks..I've become "that" neighbor

someone doesn't think think you are amazing because you did everything you could to save him including emotional and financial sacrifices? How can that be?

I have a couple. A Canon EF 75-300mm f/3.5-4.5, Canon EF 28-80mm f/3.5-4.5, and Quantaray 19-35mm f/3.5-4.5. The 19-35's my main lens. I've barely taken it off since I bought it back in the summer. Partly because I love me some wide-angle, partly because it's my fastest & sharpest (& best) lens. I reeeeally want a 50mm f/1.4 or something, though. That'd be sexy. My camera's my baby. <3

The pic came out great. I really want that camera!

Mufasa's latest was a couple of days ago I thought he might have snuck out but wasn't sure. Then I heard a dog barking so I ran outside to find Mufasa chasing a dog down the seawall. It was the funniest thing and I wish I had it on video. The dog is a big black lab!

Hopefully everything's OK, Dee. Bubba had issues a few weeks ago, but that was because he ate a bag of coconut that he snagged while I was baking. I freaked out, but couldn't find anything on the net about it being toxic to dogs. Turns out, it just makes them poo. A lot. For a long time. :o

lol...poor Bubba...glad it wasn't Toxic though....unless of course gas came with the territory - in which case that could have been toxic to you :p

Clancy's tummy actually seems to be doing better - she didn't wake me up this morning for an extra early morning poo - and she's back to being a booger...BUT we are still going to the vet tomorrow - I want to get that lump checked and she's due for some shots...which I just discovered this morning...so I'll let y'all know what comes of the vet visit.

If anyone was in any doubt that cats are killing machines straight from hell... this is Puss, engaging in a bit of murderous frenzy a very very long time ago. It's not as sharp as it might be, but it was back in the dark ages, with a Russian camera - and there's obviously a bit of movement going on there  And the mouse didn't make it :distress:

 Yeah, he was just an evil sod, and completely black, not a scrap of white on him anywhere. He was abandoned and taken in by my aunt when she was at uni, and he hung around killing stuff for a few months, then one day he just wandered off - back to hell, I guess

*shudder* Sometimes I'm thankful that I'm allergic to cats

I house sat a couple of years ago for people with a couple of cats. This house was in the middle of nowhere...but they insisted on letting their cats out.

All was well and good until bunny carcasses started being left on the doorstep. Once those were removed (by a neighbor I called) they'd bring the heads and leave those on the doorstep.

Cats are scary
