Can I hope for some DVDs? :) :wavey:

I'm not sure, to be honest. I'll probably upload some soon, but I hate when assholes take multiple discs, shrink the content, and put them on one disc. Nothing makes me angrier.

I'm still planning on torrenting that Wild Heart show, though. I didn't when I said I was going to because a few of the tracks on the second disc kept getting corrupted for some reason, but it was the software and not the actual files. :)

What Wild Heart show will that be? I don't think any wild heart shows have been uploaded to eztree.

A quality
Gold Dust Woman (cuts in), Outside the Rain, Dreams, I Need To Know, Sara, If Anyone Falls, Leather and Lace, Stand Back, Beauty and the Beast, Gypsy, How Still My Love, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, Edge of Seventeen, Rhiannon

It's from a different source than the one making the rounds and was just converted from the master tapes a few months back. It, and some others, were given to me to torrent eventually and I'm going to do this one first because it's really good. I also have a crystal-clear, uncirculated copy of the show where the stage collapses and Joe Walsh yells at the crowd that I'm going to up, but I misplaced in all these stacks of CDs. LOL

Hola!
I uploaded this DVD at Jacob's tracker today!

Stevie Nicks Storytellers DVD 1998 (http://owntracker.com/thechian/details.php?info_hash=1b3e7ef406561fdf148797691a877cda49c8bc53)

VH1-Storytellers >>> Dreams, Landslide, Stand Back, Rhiannon, After The Glitter Fades, Edge Of Seventeen, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You

I tried to up this at easytree a few days ago, but it was banned, because it has the commercial videos of Stand Back and Rhiannon at the end, which were broadcasted right after the show! This DVD also has the last 30 seconds of the show before it on it! I actually would've cut that out, but I have no idea how to do it!

All thanks for that goes to beautiful Claripup, because she was so kind and recorded it for me and send it to me!

You're welcome!
There is a small problem with the DVD, it has a few errors at the beginning of Dreams, but besides that the quality is great!
I used Nero, but no matter what I did, the files didn't have sound wih that programm! I also used InterVideo WinDVD Creator, which was installed on my computer when I bought, but with it the files were only 24 minutes long! Then I thought "**** it", Jabob's tracker doesn't have that strict rules like easytree! (and Songbird is played on TV right at moment)

Anyways, I hope you have fun with it!

Okay, try this:

Open Nero
Click "Make Your Own DVD Video"
Click "Add Video Files"
Select one of the VOB files
Click "Edit Movie"
A new frame should pop up that shows your video with lots of icons on the bottom of it
Select the portion you want to delete and then click the red scissors

That should do it. :woohoo:

Yes, that it what I did, somehow! My Nero programm told me to use Nero Vision Express and then I did what you discribed! But no matter what I did (using the DVD, copying it to hardrive), the thing that I burned had no sound! Maybe someone else can fix it and upload it again (if someone has the time) I don't know!

Oh, nothing is messed up! I left everything like it is, so the sound is crystal clear (if you close your eyes and ears for three seconds during Dreams, because there's an error)! :woohoo:

In case anyone is interested, I just uploaded this one, too.

http://www.easytree.org/torrents-details.php?id=33051&hit=1

I've had numerous copies of this one over the years and this is by far the best quality one that I've seen making the rounds; got this one about six years ago. It's great to listen to because you get a picture of just how great a voice she has, no studio wizardry or pro-tools, these are her raw vocals. Enjoy!

Bette Midler
"For the Boys" Recording Session
Alternate takes and vocals

A/A- quality
The tracks have a little hiss in the background,
but nothing too intrusive.
Generation: CD-R > WAV > FLAC

1. Stuff Like That There
2. Stuff Like That There #2
3. P.S. I Love You #1
4. Dreamland
5. I Remember You (with James Caan)
6. The Way You Look Tonight
7. Baby, It's Cold Outside (take #185)
8. Over There
9. Come Rain or Come Shine #1
10. In My Life
11. Billy-A-Dick
12. Come Rain or Come Shine #2
13. P.S. I Love You #2

BONUS TRACKS

14. Bette Radio Interview from 1992 Part One (no date, 27 minutes)
15. Bette Radio Interview Part Two (38 seconds)

Sigh...that's where I saw my first concert...NKOTB in February 1990 (I think it was). I was about 13 or something and so overwhelmed walking into that place seeing the audience. The Cover Girls were on stage singing "We Can't Go Wrong". It was loud and I felt like I was in a dream.

Anyways...thanks for the shows everyone!!!!!!

Speaking of that bitch Joan, as I mentioned in the other thread, I thought Bette admitted to face work because in her latest night club gig, Joan says she and Bette go to the same guy in NY and that they're the only ones who show up to the Dr's annual Xmas party and don't deny being there as patients instead of being there with someone else.

Maybe she was being catty? That makes sense, since it's hard to believe the same guy is responsible for how great Bette looks and how bad Joan looks. Quite a different set of results I'd say.

I am trying to download the Gift of Screws lossless flac-file, but:

it says: estimate time 69 hours.

with 1 or 2kb download speed. It's even unsafe to keep the computer open for so long, when I'm not at home. So how did you guys do this?

It's not worth it if you don't have high speed internet like DSL or cable. :( If you do have it, though, make sure there are enough seeders. If there's only one or two seeders, I wouldn't even bother with it because it's pretty close to being dead.

Fleetwood Mac Largo 75 & Japan 77 Pro Shot NTSC DVD Great

**See the CAVEAT below.**

Both of these are upgrades to the VHS copies I have had for years, with the
addition of
the annoying "FOR SCREENING ONLY" declaration at the bottom of the screen
throughout both shows. However, once you get over this both concerts are
great,
especially the '75 Largo show. I am unsure of the lineage as I received it
from a friend
who specializes in video trading nearly exclusively and he gets the good
stuff. These are
recent upgrades for him.

Excuse the chauvinism ladies, but the 1975 Stevie is a treat for the eyes in
jeans and bare
middrift. By the '77 Japanese TV show she has big hair. Christine is looking
fine and
playing well as usual. Both shows are excellent quality both video and
sound. Lindsey
Buckingham is on fire throughout. "I'm So Afraid" is great, and he pays
homage to the
great Peter Green in both shows. "The Chain" is a highlight for me in the
'77 show, but
the rest is great as well.

Both are pro shot. The menu is crude, only a selection for each show, not
for each song.
Otherwise it's killer as we like to say around these parts.

**CAVEATS:
1) Per above, there is the annoying "FOR SCREENING ONLY" display which runs
thoughout both shows. If you have a better copy without this, I would like
to download
yours.

2)At 11:15 into the '75 show there is a 15 second tone blast reminiscent of
the days when
tv channels actually went off the air late at night which I assume was in
the broadcast.
This is conveniently between songs.

3) On the "Young Music Show"
-at 7:00 in Rhiannon there is a weird sound for about 2 seconds
-at 17:15 in Go Your Own Way there is a weird sound for about 2 seconds

Otherwise, this is good stuff.

It seems it was their ISP that overreacted - the request does not seem to be to close down the entire site and removing the one Nirvana torrent might be all that is needed. They've had many requests from artists and management before to remove specific torrents and they've alway complied. Hopefully they'll be able to smooth things over with their provider or look for a new one.

Pray EZtree comes back......there's nothing else like it.

I guess considering the alternative we're faced with now, I would take any type of modification to shows in order to keep that site running. The diversified content was simply mind boggling, it was intersting just to read and skim through the different torrents being posted everyday.

It's still up in the air, but at least there's a decent chance the site will come back. There's also some speculation the title of the torrent was part of the problem.

I hope so, There were plenty of ROIO Dream Theater shows that made me happy, Along with a bunch of rare as hell metal shows (ie-Anything by Helloween and/or Nightwish) and the occassional Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks show.

Here's a new post by one of the moderators, now that they actually have the letter in their hand ( It was originally sent to their host)

If you don't want to read through it - I've highlighted the important parts - bottom line is - they should be back up soon!!!! :woohoo: :blob2: :]

________________________________

Hello again, folks.

We have read and re-read and re-read the letter over and over
again and again. To put it mildly, it's full of bull****. All what they
say could be torn apart if we had a lawyer (any German lawyer out
there???) and if the letter had been sent to us. (The letter is
addressed to the hosting service).

I'll try to translate some things, for your entertainment:

Internet-Homepage with unauthorized music recordings (rotfl)

...

It has come to our attention that one with the internet connected PC
is offering unauthorized music downloads under the URL

http://www.easytree.org/torrents-details.phpid=30630

(for sure, at least Ted will see immediately that the URL would not work)

The offer contains recordings to which our client has the complete
duplication and distribution rights. As an example, we like to point
out the recordings of the following artist:

artist/ title/ rightsowner
Nirvana/ Smells like teen spirit/ Universal

These offerings violate the rights of our client. In this regard it is
legally irrelevant if the right violating offerings are
physically available on your server or are made available through a
hyperlink.

For your better understanding we'd like to emphasize the legal basics:

The rights to the music on a sound carrier are owned by authors, artists
and sound carriage manufacturers.
You do not obtain these rights when buying a CD (would have guessed
that?!). After having bought a CD you solely have the right to listen to
the music privately. Therefore, you are not allowed to do what you want
with a CD (damn! So I can't burn all CDs I have by Universal artists
now???). You are also not allowed to copy a CD and distribute the
duplicated items ("Vervielfältigungsstücke", I don't think this word
even exists in German) -- the right for a private copy does not go that
far -- you are also not allowed to copy the music of a CD without
permission "to the internet" and thereby offering it to the public. This
does not only apply to the case that the download is made available to
others, but also then, when the user can only listen to the music or
when to an informational offer music has been added to. A private use,
which would not need the aforementioned permission, is not the case with
public offers on the internet.

[Some of this is infact written like that in German, it is not the
translation!]

We have to request you until

April 7, 2005, 17:00:00

1. To block the right-violating offers made available under the a.f. URL
and its subsites and to delete them (the offers) from your servers or to
have them deleted.

2. In the case you are not responsible to inform us about the name and
address of the person responsible for the content of the right-violating
sites.

We assume you are not interested to make space available on your server
for illegal offerings. We would like to point out that our client has
ordered us to immediately take the necessary legal steps if you do not
obey to the requested blocking and don't provide the requested
information. Further claims are reserved.

---

If they would have sent the letter directly to us, we could have had a
good laugh about it.

Unfortunately, the hosting service hangs in between and now we have to
make it clear to the hosting service that the contents isn't worth the
paper it's written on. As long as we can't convince the hosting service,
we can't put EZT back online, as the hosting service would shut us down
in a heartbeat. erwe is going to write and call the hosting service
tomorrow and will try to straighten out things.

It depends on the hosting service's ToS, but I bet my a** the ToS say
they can not be held responsible for what their customers do with the
servers.

Some folks mentioned it on- and off-list -- why not simply switch the
hosting service? It's not that easy, as we're bound to the contracts for
one year for each of the six servers. The first contract runs out in
August, one in October, two in November, one in December and one in
January.

Also, going off-shore would bring along not only considerably higher
expenses for the traffic and the machines we'd need, it would also mean
*additional* expenses as long as the contracts with the current hosting
service run.

Stay tuned and rest assured we're working at it!

If you want to read an interesting article about Bram Cohen (the creator of the Bit Torrent program) here's a link:

Bit Torrent (http://wired-vig.wired.com/wired/archive/13.01/bittorrent.html)

Bram's been getting a lot of publicity recently. It seems the biggest threat to torrent file sharing is the MPAA movie/tv industry. They're determined not to make the same mistake as the RIAA.

Seattle Times (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2002146729_bittorrent10.html) .

Will they make him a millionaire? Probably not. Already, people are taking the BitTorrent code and building their own applications on top of it. Friends say that in order to get rich, Cohen would have to spend time thinking about making money instead of thinking about his code — and that's not likely.

"There's this impression that getting rich is the most important thing one must do," said Sassaman. "I'm pretty sure Bram doesn't agree with that."

Never got around to figuring out this torrent business but it does look like it's gone for good:

(from the easytree website)
Hello gals and guys,

We're very sorry having to tell you that we had to shut down EZT just a couple of minutes ago.

We got a call from our provider, they had received a few letters from a couple of lawyers. They requested EZT to be shut down immediately, otherwise we and the hosting service would be sued.

As you may imagine, we do not have the funds to fight a battle we most probably can't win anyway.

We would like to thank everyone here for their contributions to EZT, one way or the other, for sharing the music, sharing an ideal, for all your mails, rants, praises...

To say it with Joan Armatrading:

We had fun, fun, fun, fun
fun, fun, fun, fun
we had fun -- while it lasted...
--"Tall in the Saddle"--

You all take good care!

about the demise of EZT (On another music trade site):

Some bootleggers (Idiots out for $$$ only) were jealous that EZT had the Nirvana (Yo, Kurt GO-Bang!) DVD listed so it could be shared freely, But since it was listed and they (Money grubbing asstards bootleggers) saw their possible pockets not being lined with $$$ they decided to notify the German rights owner of the Nirvana DVD...Better to make sure no one has the show than to have it freely shared about without having to pay some bootlegger to view it.

I dont know if that is true, But I dont doubt it for a second considering a few run-ins I have had with bootleggers who worship the almighty $$$ ("God Bless the Almighty Dollar...Cause in Greed We LST!")

Fleetwood Mac Largo 75 & Japan 77 Pro Shot NTSC DVD Great

**See the CAVEAT below.**

Both of these are upgrades to the VHS copies I have had for years, with the addition of the annoying "FOR SCREENING ONLY" declaration at the bottom of the screen throughout both shows. However, once you get over this both concerts are great, especially the '75 Largo show. I am unsure of the lineage as I received it from a friend who specializes in video trading nearly exclusively and he gets the good stuff. These are recent upgrades for him.

Excuse the chauvinism ladies, but the 1975 Stevie is a treat for the eyes in jeans and bare middrift. By the '77 Japanese TV show she has big hair. Christine is looking fine and playing well as usual. Both shows are excellent quality both video and sound. Lindsey Buckingham is on fire throughout. "I'm So Afraid" is great, and he pays homage to the great Peter Green in both shows. "The Chain" is a highlight for me in the '77 show, but the rest is great as well.

Both are pro shot. The menu is crude, only a selection for each show, not for each song. Otherwise it's killer as we like to say around these parts.

**CAVEATS:
1) Per above, there is the annoying "FOR SCREENING ONLY" display which runs thoughout both shows. If you have a better copy without this, I would like to download yours.

2)At 11:15 into the '75 show there is a 15 second tone blast reminiscent of the days when tv channels actually went off the air late at night which I assume was in the broadcast. This is conveniently between songs.

3) On the "Young Music Show"-at 7:00 in Rhiannon there is a weird sound for about 2 seconds -at 17:15 in Go Your Own Way there is a weird sound for about 2 seconds

Otherwise, this is good stuff.

Fleetwood Mac Young Music Show Outtakes & Rosebud Film NTSC DVD

In contrast to the first dvd, I've never had either of these before. I'm assuming the outtakes portion of this is an upgrade since it has the "FOR SCREENING" banner at the bottom like the first dvd. I would imagine whoever had to put that banner in would have done it with "Rosebud" if it was an upgrade, but I don't know.

Anyhow, overall, both of these look and sound very good. Rosebud has some tape drag in a spot or 2, but otherwise is great with decent sound and picture.

Those of you who were here in the beginning with the first dvd will recall the drama when it got hung up during seeding. I still don't understand what happened since I never messed with the dvd once it was saved to the hard drive, but I had to upload nearly twice the full size before it started to seed. Hopefully that won't happen this time. (I was intoxicated when I uploaded the first dvd and was SURE it had nothing to do with that, and it appears it didn't. Pefectly sobor tonight...)

I can understand them being touchy, it is of course their arse on the line should the lawyers come sniffing around again like with the Nirvana crap that shut down Easytree. I honestly thought that dimeadozen were going ban DVDs full stop, so maybe we should be grateful that at least we are still getting something.

Fleetwood Mac First Concert, August 13 1967 7th national jazz festival"

This time a real treat. this is the newly discovered fleetwood mac performance at the 7th jazz national festival, in windsor. a short, but oh so sweet performance, from the very early fleetwood line up, including bob brunning at the bass. this was the first public performance ever of the band!! i have no info on the lineage, it sounds definitely like a low gen aud tape. far from perfect, but , as i said, an historic and great performance. cover art included, with actual pics and posters from the event. enjoy and share.

This is the best from my old crypt's collection !

After the fantastic early seed from 1967,i had to search for the best sounding show in my old tapes.

This must be from an old LP Bootleg.
On my old tape:
Fleetwood Mac Amsterdam april 69.( only ! )
After researchs, this boot was re-issued on CD in the late 80's with some fillers.

After transfering the tape and listening to the show this is a "worth to have"for Peter's fans (just like me).

Stop talking now.

I received this CD a couple of years ago in a trade with the above lineage and setlist. It was dated as 6/23/68 but since it has been verified that the band performed at San Francisco's Carousel Ballroom on that date in 1968, another Fleetwood Mac collector advised me that 1969 should be the correct date.

Please note that it is a live-in-the-studio performance by the band -- later broadcast on Scottish radio. Much like the BBC live performances of the period, there is no audience.

I couldn't find any reference indicating that any part of this has ever been commercially-released.

I did the encoding to FLAC on May 2, 2005 -- I didn't do any editing other than having FLAC Frontend check for SBE's, and tagging the files (using TagScanner).

Fleetwood Mac, Böblingen, Sporthalle 4/26/70 Stereo Master reel

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=43494

This is my addition to the recently posted great P. Green´s F. Mac tapes here!
I would be glad if more people could follow with other great White Blues roots stuff, from Canned Heat w/Alan Wilson, other F.Mac or .......

This is the best sounding F.Mac Böblingen 70 audience tape I heard yet!
The quality is comparable to the recently posted F. Mac Stockhom 1970!
The tape has, according to it´s age, some dropouts and some creased parts but it´s still nice & very listenable STEREO!

It´s an incomplete recording , just ca. 52 mins, but that´s all what´s on that tape!
Completer Mono versions from other sources were arround a long time!

I copied this directly from my original 7,5 ips Agfa master reel, which someone gave me in the mid 80´s, in reply for some tapes I found........
I will attach scans of the reel & box, in case anybody is interested how these may look!

Tracklist:
1 Black Magic Woman
2 Before the Beginning
3 Like it this Way
4 Rattlesnake shake/ Searching for Madge
5 Coming your way/drums/coming your way cut
Encore:
6 Albatross

Enjoy this piece of history!

Danny Kirwin

Note: in the Fall, Kirwin was fired from the band (after ongoing
erratic behavior culminated in him smashing his head against the wall
and, with blood dripping, smashing his beloved Les Paul to bits prior
to a gig, leaving the band to play without him). As this show
illustrates (particularly on the last 2 numbers), he was still playing
prime lead guitar up to that point. Another highlight is hearing
Danny's unreleased song "Trinity" which appears on a few concert
recordings of that period. As usual, I find Bob Welsh's between-song
banter to be smug & condescending (but maybe that's just me.).

Audience recording (grade B)
Vocals are a little 2 D and indistinct. Guitars & rhythm section,
however, are clear and high in the soundscape. The first 2 tracks run
slighty slow but, as the remaining tracks do not, I didn't alter them.

Lineage: trade (cdr) > EAC > Soundforge * > FLAC (level 8)

* I upped the dynamic level and re-indexed in Soundforge. The
recording level (when transferred from tape, by whomever, was very
low. It sounds like source tape was close to master however, tho there
is tape hiss present.

"I couldn't believe that a 1977 soundboard exists, but this seems to be the genuine article.
The quality is excellent, although it seems to be a mixing desk recording and suffers from the flat feeling caused by the lack of audience response.
I have been reliably informed that this recording is actually from Oklahoma City, and not Oakland as the artwork implies.
The Oakland label was a mistake created by the original bootlegger of this soundboard, an East Coast seller named Devilwoman. She bought numerous Fleetwood Mac soundboards (including several from the Rumours tour) from the band's historian & archivist, Frank Harding."
Review taken from http://cds.jrd.org.uk/list/cd.fle.o197.shtml

I have included the inaccurately identified Oakland artwork. If someone has the actual OKC artwork,
please provide! This is a great sounding show. Enjoy.

Just noting that The Trader's Den (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9249) has the following set now available:

Ay, there's some gold here for ye maties willing to dig fer it.
But some words of caution first for ye.....

The sound quality on some of these tracks..........let's see........I think the technical term is..........SUCKS.

I mean it, folks. I have slaved over them with cooledit and you just can't raise the dead sometimes. People like Mickboy, God Bless Him, can do wonders, but I don't know that even a recording studio could fix some of these. Everything has been de-clicked, re-mixed, and hiss has been shaved. Some I speed corrected, but truly I guessed about right speed as I wasn't familiar with the songs involved.

I've chosen to bookend the torrent with great quality songs that somehow got missed for the legit BBC set, but in between, there's a lot that was taped from the radio on a bad mike and the reception was pretty bad. (If you have Fairport Convention doing 'Things You Gave Me' in 1967, you know the quality I mean).

But there are some gems here--Crudup's Mean Old World is great, as is Green's faux Muddy waters vocals on You Need Love (aka Zep's Whole Lotta Love). Jeremy was born to sing Yonder's Wall, and I'm not a Jeremy fan. And then there's Robert Johnson's Dead Shrimp Blues, the highlight. Taped during a raging thunderstorm, this is Green with no accompaniment just playing solo and jeez, is it passionate. I worked a long time on this, trying to cut the volume on each static crackle. Someone said that in the late 60's,it seemed like 3 people in the UK had the Johnson US lp: Keith, Clapton, and Green. Green was the only one who had the guts to play a song like Johnson, naked and unadorned.

The 3 tracks with Christine are better quality and are rare as hell. I know a lot of people who adored Kiln House. I closed with an alternate Oh Well that features part of the quiet ending. Seemed only fair, since this was Green's show.

Fleetwood Mac, Sindelfingen, Messehalle 3/4/72 1st Gen. Great audience

Hey friends, I wanted to post this show for some time, but it never happened for some reason, but it´s finally here now, the best sounding F.Mac tape with this lineup, I heard yet!

Unfortunately I couldn ´t imagine in these days , how good this line up really was , but after listening to the records from that period for some years, I really like that period......

The original taper copied for me the original master and a very nice equalized copy, since Taper "U" worked many years on improving his original recordings! Since the original tape sounds great to me without any equalizing, I decided to post the original version!

Tracklist:
1 Tell me all the things you do
2 Future Games
3 Morning Rain
4 Woman of the thousand Years
5 Black Magic Woman
6 Get like you used to be
7 Homeward Bound
8 Drums/Trinity

Lineup:
Danny Kirwan: g, voc
Mick Fleetwood: dr

Christine McVie: keyb.,voc

Fleetwood Mac, Sindelfingen, Messehalle 3/4/72 1st Gen. Great audience
I encourage everyone to get this (if the pre-Rumours era rocks your boat), because it is the best-sounding version of this boot that I've heard and it's not mp3-sourced! It's missing two minutes from the end of "Black Magic Woman" though, and the three last tracks appear to be corrupted but I'm sure the seeder will fix that at some point.

(Soundboard)

This is a recent cassette transfer and the sound on it is outstanding. I think it's the best sounding soundboard of the Rumours tour - and an upgrade from what I've previously heard of this recording. It's a seemless recording meaning there are no cuts or edits between tracks. There is a very slight cut at the end of disc one, but it's right at the end of Gold Dust Woman,no vocals are cut. There is also a slight cut in at the beginning of disc two, but again no vocals are sliced off.

I have no info on who taped the show, but a big thanks to everyone responsible for getting this tape transferred - it's a really great sounding show.

OK folks, this is my first attempt at uploading something here so let's see how it goes. Recently got my hands on this nice soundboard of the Mac in Paris on the Rumours tour. Doesn't seem to be circulating much from what I can see. It's not as good as the Nashville '77, but is one of the better Rumours era shows I've heard. The left channel is a bit muffled, but the right channel sounds pretty nice.

I prefer this show over nearly all of the Mirage Tour discs that are in circulation...And yes, I even prefer it over the "soundboard" recordings from that tour.

This show is incredible I agree. Amazing! It feels to me like this was recorded onstage... sounds weird but thats what I think of when i hear it.

This show is incredible I agree. Amazing! It feels to me like this was recorded onstage... sounds weird but thats what I think of when i hear it.It was recorded by Jeff Samuels from the audience with some sort of very early digital job. Jeff is a lifelong Deadhead, & is very well known in the Jerry Garcia/Grateful Dead circles. Fleetwood Mac was one of his lesser loves: he generally caught them whenever they were in town (Bay Area).

Jeff also recorded the Mountain View Fleetwood show from October 1997, which you've probably heard, too.

We need to give Jeff more credit. We should even invite him to Ledgeville here! Jeff never sells. The Dead community is very strong on trading, so you should never see Jeff's recordings for sale by anyone else. If you do, you have his permission to kill that greedy bastard with an old Grateful Dead live album.

I would gracefully welcome him into the board. And by the way I have not heard that Mountain View Show. Dance shows aren't a favorite of mine. But ill keep that thought in mind that he recorded it. If its anything like Oakland 82 it must be great.

Fleetwood Mac-12/05/77 Live In Toyko, Japan

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=59563

Artist: Fleetwood Mac
Title: Live In Toyko, Japan
"Japan Young Music Special"
Date: 12/05/77
Venue: Budokan
Country: Japan
Type: DVD-Rip from soundboard video recording
Quality: A/A-
Media: FLAC

1.01 Oh Well 03:29
1.02 Rhiannon 08:33
1.03 Over My Head 03:45
1.04 Go Your Own Way 06:08
1.05 World Turning 08:08
1.06 Blue Letter 05:03
1.07 The Chain 06:12
1.08 Songbird 03:43

Source: Pro-Shot DVD SDB DVD-R
Ripped with: Phillips CDR560, TDK CD-R AUD
Audio Restoration: Gold Wave
Files: FLAC Fronted Level 6

This is a rip of the DVD which has been posted here a while ago (http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=35533)! Unfortuanetly, my copy has 2 3-4 seconds long errors during the song Rhiannon and Go Your Own Way! This is the original seeders comment:

"This is conveniently between songs.
3) On the "Young Music Show"
-at 7:00 in Rhiannon there is a weird sound for about 2 seconds
-at 17:15 in Go Your Own Way there is a weird sound for about 2 seconds"

If anyone may have full copies of those two songs, please let me know and I'll try to ressed them! This is no upgrade, there are probably better recordings out there, but it is a great concert anyways!
I am also trying to rip the Largo 1975 show from that DVD too and upload it tomorrow!

Trade freely, do whatever you like with that recording, but DON'T SELL IT!

This is a great show. The band really was on this night. The pocket tightness of their jamming easily equaled -- & probably exceeded -- the Grateful Dead.

In fact, I don't think a major rock band (outside the E Street Band & the Heartbreakers) reached this height as a jamming band until the Police tour in 1983 for Synchronicity.

I agree. I would dare say that this is the best show (that I have heard so far) of the tour. I think it's a really cool contrast for the younger fans too because it's such a 360 degree turnaround from what seeing Fleetwood Mac live now is like.

Hola, I think I should do some advertizing for my torrent tracker (ThrownDown.net BitTorrent Tracker (http://www.throwndown-videos.net/bittorrents/)), because some good stuff has been uploaded recently:

Fleetwood Mac - Behind The Music (VH1, 1997) AVI 279.91MB, uploaded by danax6
Fleetwood Mac documentary about band history (Rumours-era fixed) and making of The Dance!

Fleetwood mac - All Access (VH1, 2003) MPEG 216.14MB, uploaded by danax6
General band history, with "rare" footage from Japan tour 1977, making ouf Say You Will album and tour!

Fleetwood Mac - Rock Family Trees (1995?) MPEG 1.82GB, uploaded by Syd
Documentary about the beginning of Fleetwood Mac, much gossip about fights in the band (Stevie tells how Lindsey tried to kill her, and how all Fleetwood Mac guitarists went insane!) Contains no interviews of either Lindsey nor Christine!

Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac On 21 (BBC, 1988) MPEG 1.67GB, uploaded by Syd
Another Fleetwood Mac documentary from 1988 about the beginning of Buckingham Nicks in Fleetwood Mac and the reasons why Lindsey left Fleetwood Mac (Stevie says that she doesn't want to have anything to do with Lindsey anymore after he left the band)

Stevie Nicks - VH1 Storytellers MPEG 443.91MB, uploaded by danax6
Dreams, Landslide, Stand Back, Rhiannon, After The Glitter Fades, Edge Of Seventeen, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You

Stevie Nicks - Rooms On Fire (TOTP, 1989) MPEG 28.05MB, uploaded by Syd
Too cute performance of Stevie's Rooms On Fire on BBC UK's Top Of The Pops!

TORRENT BANNED FROM DIME!

The Albuquerque 1979-Nov-02 part of this torrent is mp3-sourced as proven by both frequency and spectral analysis (images attached to comments).

recordings are MP3 sourced, that is my first rule of trading: No TAO'd shows (I have all my recordings listed as either DAO/Disc at Once or TAO/Track at Once for those who need the guidance info).

Hopefully he will list the Australian "Soundboard" recordings from March 1980 that I traded to him on DIME....I know plenty of people would enjoy those shows.

This band has no Lindsey Buckingham (Lindsey had quit in 1987, not to return until 1997), on guitar are Billy Burnette and the awesome Rick Vito, other then that all the regular Rumours crew.

Not the best quality boot, lots of audience chatter, however I dont believe this show has been circulated on CD before (only on audio tape). This show also has a rare song "When The Sun Goes Down" that was not widely played on tour.

05. Go Your Own Way (cut)

Notes: Here is the first real audience recording from the Tusk tour that we are aware of. This is not the mp3-sourced version that Nickslover posted at Dime, this is a lossless copy as ripped from my own trade CD-Rs that I received from Macfan_57 about a year ago. For proof see the links to both frequency and spectral analysis. Dedicated to anal retentives people like myself.

The sound quality of the show is very good, around B+/A- with some tape fluctuation here and there. Obviously not all the songs they played that night are present; "GYOW" is cut off in the middle of a chorus too. But these are minor complaints as it is interesting to listen to these early renditions and compare them to the last boot of the tour (recently seeded at Dime in very good sound quality). Obviously there were changes in the lengths of the songs as the tour went on (i.e., they got longer, longer and longer) and in the level of passion (not that this one is passionless!).

Also, there are some flaws in the recording. There's a short drop-out in "Rhiannon", probably the taper accidentally hit pause and resumed taping a bit later into the song. There's a lot of skipping in the intro of "I'm So Afraid". I don't know exactly what caused it; it sounds like freeform jazz and I doubt they played it that way that night! This is the main reason for me not to post this at Dime; here in the land of the hardcore anything goes. Or at least I hope so. ;)

Lindsey's talk between the songs seems less pre-planned than it would be later on, he even addresses a member of the audience directly before "Oh Well". The other notables you should hear yourself.

DO NOT DISTRIBUTE THIS IN LOSSY FORMAT! Converting it for your iPod or whatever is ok, but don't try to pass around those lossy files to someone else as lossless.

So enough of my yakkin' (if you even bothered to read any of this); start leeching! And keep on seeding when you're done because I can't keep this seeded during the weekend.

Fleetwood Mac - Next Stop Main Road - Manchester, U.K - August 25, 1990 - FM - Flac

This is a great 2 cd set of a FM broadcast of the "Behind the Mask" line-up of Fleetwood Mac which in my opinion was very under rated. Billy Burnett, who plays guitar and sings on this, along with Rick Vito, is now part of John Fogerty's touring band (see recent DVD torrent here of a Austin City Limits broadcast. It is excellent and highly recommended).

Artwork included on this one. Set list in info file.

Notes:

A decent-sounding recording from the-second-to-last Tusk tour date; better posted here than at Dime because the quality is about B or something like that. Once again not all the songs they played that night are present, but this is a Fleetwood Mac bootleg so what else do you expect? The band is in great playing mood as they always seemed to be in August 1980. My favourite "Oh Well" by Lindsey. There's some rowdy coked-out people with a few lame jokes (- "We want Stevie!" - "Wonder!") near the taper, including some BN line-up fans who respond with "never heard of him" when Christine mentions Peter Green. Lindsey sounds like he's almost bursting into tears when introducing "WMYTYTO" (and then delivers a kick-ass rendition right after). Typical high-class jamming in "Not That Funny". Also note Mick screwing up the beginning of "Think About Me" which Christine and John then joke about. What more do you want?

Brian J. prefers to digitize audio cassettes exactly as they were without any noise reduction or whatever, so be prepared for some tape hiss. I did slight pitch correction on tracks 4-8 because they ran a bit too fast originally. There was also an unrelated piece of music right after "Songbird" ends (sounds like the 1987 version of "Big Love") that I decided to remove.

Nancy from BuckinghamNicks.net is currently posting this at the same time as mp3s, apparently from the same discs that we both received from Brian J. I realize the problems that arise out of a lossy source and lossless source being shared at the same time. However, I thought that some purists might prefer the lossless version so here it is.

If you want a sample of this before downloading, just go to Nancy's site and download one of the files: http://www.buckinghamnicks.net/fun/bootleg.html#lindsey

The usual disclaimers:

DO NOT DISTRIBUTE THIS IN LOSSY FORMAT! Converting it for your iPod or whatever is ok, but don't try to pass around those lossy files to someone else as lossless.

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO GAIN FROM THIS RECORDING MONETARILY.

Young Music Festival, Japan 1977-12-05 Outtakes & Rosebud Documentary 1976

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y199/faceofglass/rosebud3.jpg

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y199/faceofglass/rosebud4.jpg

Notes: This is a reseed of Devlin0208's torrent at Dime from April 2005 (
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=36640 ) which was banned from that tracker because of extreme paranoia on behalf of the moderators (nothing officially released or to be released is allowed there). The Rosebud "Rhiannon" was only officially 'available' as an online link through The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac CD compilation, even then only for a short time. That was the first reason it was banned, the second was the petition for a Fleetwood Mac DVD at the Penguin, as suggested by Ken Caillat, that was going to include both "Say You Love Me" and "I'm So Afraid" from Rosebud. The Dime mods think that this footage is going to be officially released some time in the future but as most of us have realized, it is very likely not going to happen.

Some of us actually managed to finish downloading the torrent right after it was removed, while some other fans managed to trade for this particular DVD later on. As far as I'm aware no one's reseeded it as of yet, but there's no better place for it than the ThrownDown.net Bit Torrent tracker!

The Japan outtakes are in the best quality we've seen yet, the only slight problem is the FOR SCREENING ONLY-text that appears throughout this portion of the DVD. Rosebud is only very good and I'm sure there are fans out there with even better-looking copies of it.

For those who haven't seen these performances, they are top-notch with memorable visuals throughout. You can't beat Stevie's big hair in the Japan footage! Particularly noticeable in Rosebud are the slightly different, early arrangements for "Go Your Own Way" (without the acoustic guitar and with different solo section and outro) and "You Make Loving Fun" (with Stevie fooling around with a guiro in the verses and with different vocal harmony section at the end).

This reseed is dedicated to David N. who does a great job in running this tracker; he supposedly hasn't seen Rosebud before. Hope you'll enjoy it old boy!

NO SELLING THIS DVD AT E-BAY OR ANYWHERE ELSE!

DO NOT CONVERT THIS INTO FILES OF SMALLER SIZE AND SPREAD THOSE AROUND. If you don't have a DVD burner, go get one, they are pretty cheap nowadays.

I'll let Devlin0208, the original seeder, have the last word:

Fleetwood Mac
Ultrasonic Studios Hempstead, New York
8 October, 1974
FM Broadcast

This is a nice 77 minute show from the Bob Welch era of Fleetwood Mac from one of the first internet trades I did way back when, back in the late '90s. I don't think I've ever seen it uploaded here or elsewhere, which is surprising as it is a great show and to my knowledge, never officially released. The sound is very slightly muffled, but otherwise great. Bob Welch is a pretty far out frontman and chats up the crowd with some pretty cool raps. He also pays homage to the great Peter Green by playing several PG songs. While he's no Peter Green on guitar, he is a decent player with a distinctive style, and I recommend this show highly. Christine McVie is excellent as usual with several great songs.

No real artwork for this-if anyone is so inclined, please feel free to make some and share it with us. There is a very poorly done scan that has the tracklisting included.

The DIME mods banned it for the following reason

The audio on the three Fleetwood Mac reharsal dvd's is in AC3 Dolby which is a lossy compression. This audio may not be allowed here.
There are 2 different audio tracks on each one (or at least on mine) but one is ac3 original and the other is ac3 w/ noise reduction. all lossy. the only type of uncompressed or "lossless" audio on DVD is PCM or LPCM.

TORRENT BANNED FROM DIME!

Audio from a video DVD, unless specifically known to be uncompressed LPCM, must be torrented only in its original codec and filetype (generally .ac3 or .mp2), and not in a conversion to a filetype for lossless audio.

The uploader may repost this in the original codec and filetype of the audio from the DVD. If that means that the individual disc's extractions cannot be divided into tracks, that's all right: keeping the original codec and filetype is more important.

Previous seeded copy of this show was a 1st gen. copy missing the very end of the show. It also had a lot of dropouts that were also on the master but have been mostly repaired for this version in Pro Tools.

Enjoy!

This recording was captured from the right stack ten rows back with a respectful crowd around me. I was running late for this gig and I arrived at my seat just as the house lights dimmed, so most of the first track has a major amount of flaws because of the mics being set and adjusted. Also track four; about 50 seconds into the song, there is a click where i engaged the bass filter.
Other than that the recording is clear and enjoyable.

You can find a review from from the Dallas paper from Stevie's web page.

A very good audience recording (with some hiss present) from the last leg of the Shaking The Cage tour. MP3 sample below.

Features Stevie's sacred cow "Sara" that was dropped from setlists until its comeback for the 2004 portion of the Say You Will tour. Worth the download for only to hear Stevie's attempt at Swedish.
