It's not that I don't love it, but the album is filled with songs I love and something has to go... so "Sisters Of The Moon" it is.

:) I'm sure you did. However, there are still several songs I'd like to see win, and I just think the immunity thing f*cks it all up. It's like the Electoral College. It doesn't MATTER how we vote, if one song CAN'T lose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, based on the immunity given by one person.
Bull****, IMO :woohoo:
Hawkeye
09-08-2004, 08:37 PM
well immunity should stop beiong given when it gets down to like 5 songs. But I still believe it's a good idea although the F***ing thing hasn't gone my way once  You have no idea how personal this SOTM Vs. Sara. thing is for me. If Sara gets in the top 10 and SOTM doesn't it will suck.
So are any of you willing to strike a deal, save SOTM this round, and I'll try my hardest to get Sara kicked out when it doesn't have immunity. I know MOST out there agree Sisters is better then Sara.
I'd even join an Angel or Beautiful Child (thats got to be music to may of your ears ;) ) alliance to save Sisters of the Moon, but that will kill me. ideally I'd like to knock out TEFM.

It's a "making of" thing, but it has a whole live performance in addition to studio singing and practicing - really cool - really, really cool. It's cutest when Stevie and LInds are in the studio, and trying to practice a harmony, and they smile at each other and sing beautifully together, and kind of mess up once, then stevie flirty smiles at lindsey. And stevie's awesome charleston during the performance, in her high boots and all...sooooo cute.
Have I mentioned I love this?

Omigod, it's so good! it's lindsey and stevie, and, well, i already described it. I got mine from a girl, got 53 stevie videos for $18 dollars, someone said i shouldn't have paid, but it was a good deal, as far as i'm concerned...but she does make DVD's, in fact, she was shocked i wanted video. But probably someone here could give it to you for free, judging by how many people told me I shouldn't have paid. It's sooooo good, you have to get it, I watch it ovah and ovah....I'd make it for you sweetie, but i barely have a TV let alone 2 VCR's and i don't have any DVD players. or a computer. anyway....

yeah, I can see why you didn't make a sign. The first concert, I brought a backpack, which i promptly left in my seat as i took my place front stage - however, it did carry a poster that i gave to the band, and a smuggled beer (they looked in my bag, but i rolled the poster around the can of beer...clever, no?) but i had to keep looking back to make sure my pack was ok. So the second concert, I knew that i would be too busy hopping around, dancing, screaming, etc. to carry stuff - sides, i had to sneak to the front....

um, cause they don't sound as good? Actually, i like WMYTYTO. But again, just cause something is groundbreaking (which is debatable, by the way - just cause MAC hadn't done it before, doesn't mean it was groundbreaking. Jazz...jazz was groundbreaking...rap, hip hop...groundbreaking) doesn't make it more pleasant to listen to, necessarily. I've always believed that she borrowed elements of it from the underground but was solely responsible for perfecting it and bringing it to popularity. I don't think it would have caught on wihtout her, but that's just my view of it. :D I mean, that beat and those lyrics and that delivery; it was sheer perfection.
On another note, have you heard her stuff with the Jazz Passengers? That stuff is awe-inspiring. Truly amazing stuff, among the best music I've ever heard in my life!

On another note, have you heard her stuff with the Jazz Passengers? That stuff is awe-inspiring. Truly amazing stuff, among the best music I've ever heard in my life!
oooo, no, just a snippet on TV of her singing with them. But i don't have Curse of Blondie, yet, either. Although i went to a store last april or something cause i thought it had been released but it wasn't. What are those CD's called? Jazz Passengers? Debbie Harry and the?
yes, rapture, and subsequent blondie raps are perfection. And also, they are (the words) so intelligent compared with a lot of rap I hear...she is such a versatile artist, and such a good, strange, lyricist, too...*gush*
It's hard to tell whether rap/hip hop would've caught on or not...i mean, it's so big that i have trouble believing it would not eventually have...but, who knows? Your theory is as good as mine.... :wavey:
